Sorry I know this is a UTV site but I hope no one minds. On my buggy I keep bottoming out and was hopping some one would have a suggestion on what I could do. Would it help to just add a shock? The ones on it are coil overs and as far as I can tell they are not adjustable.

Stuck a extra set of bilstiens on mine(vw) and it helped alot, almost to stiff when going slow. If you can make it so you can bolt it up in more than one spot to change the leverage on the shock.

4x4x454 is 41 today. Happy birthday. Fancy being 41, :o man that's old you old bugger. I starting counting backwards when I hit 40, so I'm only 35 & that makes you six years older, you old man. :rolleyes:

:D Kids, Kids, Kids, I just don't about Kids these days, :lol: and if you call me an old man(disrespectful), I'll drive my Trooper over there and Kick your butt :angry: , of course, you'll have to voluntarily lay down so I can, having my handicaps and all ;) , or you could make me chase you around in your Trooper with my Trooper :D .

      So I'm interested in a side by side of some sort.
      Not sure what make/model to even look at.
       
      I would plan on riding on trails with very rough rocky terrain and plenty of mud. Maybe sand once in a long while. I like LOTS of power and drive fast, but also like a trail that is a challenge to get through. I think 4x4 would be a must. I like the idea of a supercharged engine, but I have never owned one, and would be a little concerned about long term reliability or expensive difficult engine repairs. If anyone knows quads, my favorite was the 2008 Polaris Outlaw 525 IRS. For dirt bikes, I raced a 2008 KTM 450 SX-F. So that gives you an idea of what type of off road stuff I liked.
      I don't like "utility quads" or "trail bikes". And likewise, I dont want a turd UTV. I want something that looks awesome and performs awesome. 2 seater with some cargo capacity at the minimum.

      I was randomly and briefly able to connect to my Coleman UTV 400s ECU the other day twice and haven't been able to since.  When I was able to access it, I found the following codes and wondered if anyone may know where I should start or what I should look at?  
      P0031 - O2 Sensor Heater Control Voltage Low
      P0107 - Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometer Pressure Voltage Low
      P0113 - Intake Air Temperature Sensor Voltage High
      P0118 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Voltage High
      P0650 - Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) failure

      Is there a code reader available for the Coleman UTV 400?  I tried using the HUD ECU Hacker software and cables/adapters but no luck OBD to delphi 6 pin and KKL VAG as well as ELM327.  Will not connect.  I was able to get it to connect randomly a couple of times, but haven't been able to since.  I was able to clear and read the codes briefly.  I'm aware of the Tiny Scan 301 but it doesn't seem to be readily available.  There's a few out there but they are expensive.

      Hello, we recently got a 2013 Hisun 800 as a little project for my husband and I to work on. Turns out the guys before us loved the mud anyway. We have replaced the stator and now going to do the Rectifier but here is the hold up as seen in the picture. There are tons of wires going to the battery. I cant seem to find anything that shows what wires should, or shouldn't be attached to the battery or where these 2 plugs go. if someone would please take some pics or share knowledge to where they go I would appreciate it greatly.
