Was sent a link to this place a while ago, but finally took the time to start reading and join in. I am Co-Owner of Thin Air Powersports with Anylizer. I take out the machines and he fixes my mistakes!!! LOL We are located in Spring Creek, Nevada... So, not much for Dunes, but lots of mud (when we get rain), snow, and dirt (k... maybe dust). Used to hate the summers down here due to the heat, but these new toys have been great! I can't wait to hear/see the stories from you all! B)

Hi Amanda, you & Tim are most welcome here. Don't hold back making any suggestions as anything will be considered, including a section for your snow mobiles if you like. You guys have got it pretty much coved for summer & winter fun and with the snow coming, I'd say there would be a few of us interested. For me personally, I have never seen one & wouldn't even know how they work so it would be all new to me.

Cheers Mike.

Do you get a lot of snow in Nevada? When was that picture taken? I live in North Dakota and we haven't gotten any snow yet. We usually have snow by now its been a warm fall so far. Its still 50s-60s here and normally we would have had snow for a couple of weeks at least.

Good Morning! We are in North Eastern Nevada, so yeah, we get a fair amount of snow. In fact, the weather service is predicting an inch in the valley today. Hopefully that means more in the mountains! You ride sleds 4X4X454?

The picture was taken last March. We ended up in a bunch of snow. It was great... well for me anyway. LOL The 4 wheelers could stay on top, the Rangers couldn't get thru, and the T2 was a blast in churning up the snow and mud! Good thing I had old snowmobile clothes on. Mud everywhere. Tim was impressed when I came back with it. I think it weighed 400 lbs more.

Hey Mike! All good here! Here is a link for you: Customer Jumping Sled Sounds like a MAJOR road trip for you to come to Nevada for a snowmobile trip! LMAO

I plan on doing just that but will be on the back burner for a while. I've got some things to sort out first, one being two teenage kids, another is work & so on. Man those snow machines really do fly, excuse my ignorance, but how are they propelled forward, is it a conveyer belt or a series of wheels with paddles?

Cheers Mike

Well I hope for lots of snow for you as well 4x4x454. Gotta have a winter sport!!! LOL

Mike - If you end up in the states, let us know. This link is a little excessive for your questions, but the sled was cooler than hell when Tim got it done. This was mine in 2002. 2002 Yamaha Viper

I cant wait to see what the T2 will do in the snow. Our rancher will go through just about anything as long as you don't stop. If you stop its all over.

In the ditch out at our lake cabin we had about 2' of snow and as long as you kept it moving you were fine.

Snow, haven't seen much of that expect when I go to Mammoth to ski, otherwise almost 20+ years when I lived in Michigan. A sled wow, haven't been one since 84, think it was something like a 400 Ski Doo don't really remember. The was a crazy ride, the sled ended up in the bottom of the pond, and we pulled it out the next year with a Tractor.

My dad always said," people take cars where only trucks should go, trucks where only 4X4 should go and 4X4 where no one should go." and now I own 4X4 buggy and I'm trying to see where it will go. Sleds were fun when I had them in Wyo. The only thing I haven't had stuck is my Joyner Trooper T2, (so far)

Thankyou Longtrack Lady we had a blizzard today about 8-12" of snow with 50 mph winds. I guess I will find out what it will do. I cant wait to get out hopefully this weekend if it stops snowing.

I was wondering if you got any snow today. Be sure and take some pictures, I haven't seen a T2-T4 in the snow yet.

Thats hilarious!!!! Our UPS driver came in this morning telling us about your storm.. Now Anilyzer is mad at me cause I didn't order any for us. LOL  So, now we are waiting on T2 Snow Pics!!! WHOO HOO!!!

The weather has gone crazy. We had a snow storm that blew straight up from the south pole last week and snow fell as low as sea level in the South Island and closed roads right up in to the middle of the North Island. That should not happen this time of year, so much for global warming.

Cheers Mike

I had not heard of a state of emergency being declared but half of the roads were closed. some places got up to 22"of the white stuff. According to the weather man we only got 2.5" here in Garrison but it at least a foot deep in my yard and a lot more other places. On main street its piled up about 10-12' so I don't know about this 2.5" crap.

Well the pics definetly tell a different story than 2.5".. LOL That's just what we heard. Like 44" in some places with 10' drifts. Course, I am hearing this from my snowmobile clients and it may just be wishful thinking. LMAO

2021 Hisun Axis 500 UTV (From Lowes)
      Will NOT START
MY apologies if this is to much info just wanted to give yal the most information possible for help.
I'm a so called diyer. An Electrician by trade 21yrs. I got my S×S from my last job. The contractor purchased this S×S for this specific job brand new, from Lowes. They used it for hauling materials, tools, & a little bit of anything you can think of on an Industrial type job site.
I remember getting on the SxS one time & pushed the gas petal all the way to the floor & SxS had very little power.
So anyway ,when the job finished up back mid July this year (7/2024) , I asked the contractor what they was going to do with it. I was told to take it. Otherwise it would go to the contractors yard (storage yard) & most likely rust away.
Took it home washed it , it had a heavy coat of dust on it & in it dust was every where. My helper & I had to push it on the trailer to get it home.  After washing it throughly I let it sit & dry out for a good day and half, maybe 2 days. Before trying to start it. NO START. Will turn over & try to start but thats it.
So here's what I've purchased & installed. New Air Filter, new spark plug, new air idle control valve (AICV), new throttle position sensor, new throttle body, new oxygen sensor, new digital dash speedometer/fuel gauge/clock.
Also drained the old oil & gas & replaced with new oil & 93oct. gas. I should probably mention that I've changed the AICV twice. The 1st time I changed the AICV I was able to get the SxS started & let idle for at least 10-15min. Drove out of the garage, with very little power,  turned it around & barely got it back in the garage. That was the one & only time I've been able to start the SxS. I've also cleaned the Throttle Body and & intake with TB cleaner.  So after that the AICV was  making weird noise so I pulled it out & tried cleaning it, pretty sure I messed it up. So I purchased a Throttle Body that came with new AICV & TPS. Still NO START.  I've checked the fuel pump & the fuel injector.  I took the injector off still hooked up to wiring & turned the key over, the injector sprayed a lot of gas out kinda the size of a volleyball. I've also checked the clearance gap on the intake & exhaust valve. But today 11/2/2024 I'm going recheck spark plug gap & the valve gaps. And alot of other checking. Would the driver side seat belt have anything to do with it not starting?? I know the driver side seat belt has to be in gauged for full throttle "going fast". Thing is the drv. side seat belt will latch but feels like might be messed up inside of it. Tired opening it up but to no avail.  I've never had a S×S or 4wheeler so I was really excited when I got the S×S,not so much anymore.  I work on & fix my own vehicles usually no problems.  But this SxS is kicking my ass.
So if possible & someone could help me with some ideas or tell me what Im doing wrong or did wrong, I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you for reading thus far.

I am in need of an IAC for my throttle body. I contacted JMC and they said I had to buy the whole throttle body for $209. I left a message at Joyner USA...they haven't called back. I found a Chinese company which have them for $17, but shipping is $32. With that I still have to hope it is the correct one which arrives.
Does anyone happen to have one laying around they would sell?
I understand a workaround would be to eliminate it and use the idle screw. I believe that would cause problems with cold start ups??? Elevation changes???

Twice my hisun has been driven a few miles and turned off back at home. Get back on it same afternoon and console is dead, no lights.
Have 12.7 vdc at battery and fuses are good. I hear relays click in the fuse box and main relay clicks but everything is dead.
Any ideas on what this may be? I've seen this problem before on this forum but it never finished.
Any help is always appreciated. Thanks in advance!
