I bought a "24" 550,my first impression was this thing is noisy,jerky,slow....But after 30 miles i changed the filter and oil to Mobil 1,immediate difference in engine noise,by the time i hit 40ish miles the belt had worn in and alot of the jerkyness stopped on takeoff, and running in low over bumps i was fighting the weak accelerator spring trying to hold steady rpm's so i put a stiffer spring 100% better and use only 93 octane it does not run well on 87.One problem with cabin noise is your sitting on the engine and its inside a big plastic hollow box that amplifies the sound,my next step is to add sound mat inside the box,So at 9k thats about right i paid almost 11k for mine new, bottom line is my father in law likes it over his honda pioneer 700,has more room and independent suspension, adjustable shocks, larger bed, with only 50miles on mine i cant say much on life of the machine but so far im liking it

Recently bought a Bighorn 550B at Tractor Supply. For the money it is equiped like far more expensive($5000-$6000 more) bigger name brands. Overall, I'm well pleased. However, I have noticed some slipping of the CVT belt. I'm hoping this will get better with time as I've only had it a few weeks. Anyone else have this problem?

Hi, when doe the belt slip? Not sure on the Big Horn, but if I'm not driving over 20 mph on my Bad Boy/Hisun I have to stay in low gear for the clutch to fully engage. Good luck with your Big Horn

My Hisun 550 (Coleman Outfitter stickers) does much better running in low gear.  I can get up to about 30mph without going deaf from engine noise and even that is 10mph more than I'd use around my property.

Like Randy said, and I agree, you'll have better full engagement in low and likely less wear as well.   I seldom use High anymore.

I want to ditch my Kubota RTV-XG850 and its moronic twitchy throttle design flaw, get rid of the problematic engine and the 40 mph purposely throttled speed.
So far, I'm looking at the Honda Pioneer 1000 and the Polaris Ranger 1000, both of which have 1000-1500 lb payload bed capacity.
What other makes and models should I be looking at?

      Thanks for the help!

I'm thinking of buying a snow blade for my Coleman Outfitter 550 (Hisun with Coleman stickers).
Has anyone purchased a snow blade that can offer the make and model they bought and any comments, pros  cons etc.?
Not 100% sure I'm going to buy, as the selection of blades for this model seems a bit thin on line.
      Thoughts and comments welcomed.
      Thanks in advance.

      Hi
I have a 2022 hisun sector eps 550. 30amp fuse is blown for eps. Checked the motor and it’s fine. Opened up the controller and found a bad diode. Dealer wanted 500$ for the controller. Just posting this in case it helps someone. I couldn’t read numbers from the old one so just took a guess and replaced it with a 100v 3amp diode.
