I have a 2016 550, ive tryed the hisun website and seems i cant get parts there. I would like to add power steering, have seen a few "kits" on ebay

for the 750 not sure if its the same parts needed for the 550, there is a factory bracket already welded to the frame above the standard steering rack, is this to be used

to mount the eps motor? There is also a grey plug hanging just above the brake master cylinder, not sure if thats anything that needs to be used in the install.

Handy with wrenches so if i can find the parts installing it shouldnt be a problem, anyone done this upgrade, was it worth it?

Thanks for the info, i checked it out and all it is in his video is a quick pic of a eps motor he installed then he drives it up a trail saying its really nice to have.

Doesnt tell/show anything about the install.

I have a 2016 Sector 750 and it also has the welded bracket from the factory.  None of the kits I have found account for this as they all seem to include a metal bracket.  The bare minimum you will need are the Hisun EPS motor, Controller (and power), motor to rack coupler, and shorter steering column rod.  I do not know if all of the 2016 models have the EPS controller connector on the harness and the frame mounting points.  Mine does have them under the hood cowling as shown in some of the YouTube videos I have watched.  The kit below has everything needed but also includes the metal bracket that ours do not require.  I am not endorsing that seller or the product, just using it to illustrate the components needed.

But I reminded you there may be 12V DC power issues. I don't know about the sector 550. But the Axis 500 doesn't generate a lot of extra voltage. There may be power concerns adding any type of Electric Power Steering, OEM or junkyard. The electric power requirements has to be considered. There may be options to increase the electric output with a bigger stator and regulator. But that will take away some of the HP power from the 550 engine due to bigger stator. I know it won't be a lot. But these little engines don't produce a lot of HP anyway.

Good luck. And let us know how it goes.

FYI, For the 2016+ 750's Hisun has a "High output" stator and Magneto rotor available.  I actually swapped to these units myself.  I am also using an Odes Dominator High output regulator/rectifier as well.  I can have my headlights (high beam), 50" light bar, rear pod lights, in cab heater, Wideband O2, my other gauges (5 additional including razorback belt temp), rock lights, in cab lights (high output mirror light and one rock light for foot well) on and I drop from 14.2 ish V to 13.8V.  Considering the factory EPS 750's do not use the high output components to my knowledge, I would not be concerned.  If it does require more power, upgrade the stator, magneto rotor and regulator/rectifier.

Recently purchased 2nd hand not going Crossfire GT400 (Australian branded name?) 2020 model.  Has some issues what would be the best forum to pose questions.
      Thanks

My father-in-laws 750 hisun will not change gears unless he completely turns the motor off then shifts.  I thought it might be a brake problem but he thought clutch.  He took it to a jackleg down the road and he basically charged him $300 and did not fix a thing.  Any ideas would be useful because he really can’t afford throwing money at it.

I am putting a new primary and secondary clutch into a 2021 Sector 750. It is rarely used, only 350 miles, brought brand new and lost the CVT belt and I can't figure out why. In the first picture is the primary I removed.

I received the new primary and it has a retaining ring around the outer edge. Does this make a difference?
