I have a pretty bad vibration on accelloration at speeds, not from a stand still. U-joints & center support are fine, no slippage in the clutch, engine is fine, runs normal. Wheels, brakes, bearings all good, CV joints ok and really nothing obvious causing this vibration.

I am wondering about the Drive Convertor. Does anyone know what a bad convertor can produce as far as problems go. I have not diss assembled or inspected it yet. I have replaced the clutch a few times  over the 26 years.

Welcome  to the forum!

I'm not sure what could be causing it, but it could very well be the interior of the centrifugal is wore out. It is belt driven, correct?

If you could post a video that would be very helpful.

Hey Travis. It is belt driven. I am going to disassemble the clutch area this weekend. Maybe I will find something in there. If I did a video, what were you thinking it would be of? The vibration while its moving?

This just got me thinking.

 My 550 has the same drive set up as yours.

 Start the Mule, and put it in Neutral, and rev the engine as you would speeding  if you while driving, if there is no vibration, then more than likley it ISN'T the clutch. be cause it operates the same as when you're in gear.

 Did i make my point clear? i'm bad at transferring thoughts into  typed words.

Hi Travis,

Pretty sure I did that already. Good thought for me to double check that. This is what made me ask about the converter. I will check this tomorrow. Sure do appreciate the  support here. I will post back this weekend.

I'd try jacking it up, and put it on stands. Then put it in gear, and try to replicate the vibration. You might be able to narrow it down if its immobile, with only the drive train in motion.

      Just picked up a Hisun 500 that had shift issues (corroded fan gear) which I fixed. It also didn't seem to be running smoothly then all of a sudden it got worse. It seems to miss on both idle and when pushing the gas pedal to the floor and doesn't seem to be running at full power. I've been working with a local person who is walking me through some steps, but I'd like some input from this group as well. What I've done:
      - drained the fuel tank and replaced it with 93 octane fuel and added heet to help with any water problems.
      - replaced the fuel injector.
      - disconnected the battery (several times) to allow the module to reset.
      - set the valve clearance, both intake and exhaust, within specs ... intake was tight but exhaust seemed fine.
      - replaced the battery.
      - replaced the O2 sensor.
      Nothing has helped. Not sure what the next steps are, but would appreciate any expertise that can be offered here.

      I have a 2021 Massimo MXU 1000.  Last winter the front drive shaft sheared off inside the motor and it was cheaper to buy a new motor than to take it apart in order to remove the front drive shaft that was broken inside the case…
      Now it is running rich, seems to maybe be geared too high, does not accelerate well once you hit about 28mph.  I’ve replaced the O2 sensor.  MAF is next (I accidentally ordered the wrong one, but when I removed the old one you can clearly smell fuel).  
       I’m not a motorhead but I can turn a wrench.  Any ideas how to get this motor optimized?  The motor has about 300 miles on it.  I broke it in as recommended in the manual.

      This post will explain how to hook up your PC to the ECU of a Hisun/Coleman/Etc UTV to be able to read error codes & engine parameters for troubleshooting purposes.
      This is applicable to all small engines using the Delphi MT-05 ECU. This should cover all fuel injected Hisun models, as well as various other Chinese FI engines, as the Delphi MT-05 ECU seems to be the favored ECU solution.
      Even though we get actual engine error codes to display on the dash, sometimes we have “pending codes” (not yet confirmed by the ECU) or other intermittent issues that are hard to diagnose, for example a poorly connected sensor that may give intermittent false readings, or a sensor that’s putting out bad date, but not bad enough for the ECU to realize.
      The setup requires 2 cables, which are available for around $25 combined, a PC with a USB port, and some charityware software called “HUD ECU Hacker”. This gives the same functionality as the $300 dealer code scanner for a fraction of the price.
      In searching I found info about HUD ECU Hacker, but I have yet to see info anywhere about how to hook it up to a Hisun, so I took the leap and bought some cables, and made it work. I will show a step by step of how to do so in post two.
      I will be breaking this down into 2 posts:
      Delphi ECU Info & Overview (This post) System setup & use Delphi ECU Info (Skip ahead to the next post if your eyes glaze over technical details)
      The Delphi MT-05 ECU was developed to allow small engines to use fuel injection. A fuel injection system requires feedback from various sensors to operate efficiently. This feedback allows the adjustment of ignition timing, fuel injection volume, etc to efficiently and cleanly produce the most power possible from a given engine.
      The MT-05 ECU has a number of sensors that are required for proper functioning including; Coolant temp, crankshaft position, intake temp, intake pressure, exhaust O2, throttle position, as well as some other optional sensors that are used on more complex vehicles.
      From the sensors the ECU adjusts: Fuel injector timing/pulse, Idle air control valve, and ignition coil

      The Delphi MT-05 puts out diagnostic data, however it is not ODB2 like a modern car, where is where it gets tricky reading it. There are three options, there is an old 16 bit piece of software Delphi has that is not able to run on a modern computer, there is the motorscanner tool for dealers ($300), or there is freeware HUD ECU Hacker with the proper cables.

      Hello everyone, second time posted looking for assistance. First time you all were a great help!
      I have an 2013 XY Powersports 600GKE UTV, sweet little machine when she was running. My youngest last fall get it covered in mud, and then blew the engine. I mean she doesn't start any more, and we've even tried rebuilding it since he's in a Vocational School for Power Sports and Diesel course, but no luck.
      One of the other members (NVM"something") was really knowledgeable about the machine I had and the engine, all I can tell you is its a CFMoto. If I can't find a replacement, does anyone know if there is one that it can be easily swapped out with, or even minor modifications.
