I recently purchased a Hisun E1 and the other day the charger stopped working properly. The LED on the dash blinks red & green and the light on the side of the charger also blinks red & green. The fan on the charger does not come on like it used to do. There is no error code that I can see. Does anyone have any suggestions to remedy this?

You didn't mention if there were any fault codes, but I attached the installation and user manuals for the Delta Q IC1200. The flashing  green though seems strange, as that would seem to indicate that the USB port is active.  I don't see anything about flashing red.  A solid red is an internal error. A flashing amber is something they call an "external error condition" and to look at the fault panel.

Thanks for the manuals. I can see no error code on the dash display. I've read about a display on the charger but I can't see it. Only a round red and green indicator that blinks red then green.

Is the charger still the Delta-Q IC1200 mounted in the front between the two front wheels (indicators visible when you look under the front on the left side)?  The only green indicator I know of on the charger itself is the one shaped like a battery.  The display is in between the charging output indicator (lightning bolt) and the charger button (wrench symbol).  You might try disconnecting power, then holding down the charger button for more than 10 seconds to completely power down the charger.  Then plug it back in and it should turn on by itself when AC power is available.

It appears to me that the charger is surrounded by a box that has four screws so I can't see any of the displays or indicators on the charger. The dealer is supposed to pick it up and fix it.

Hopefully they can tell me what was wrong with it soon.

OK.  Sounds like they've changed some components, so what I provided may not apply.  Hopefully it's still under warranty!

      Hi
I have a 2022 hisun sector eps 550. 30amp fuse is blown for eps. Checked the motor and it’s fine. Opened up the controller and found a bad diode. Dealer wanted 500$ for the controller. Just posting this in case it helps someone. I couldn’t read numbers from the old one so just took a guess and replaced it with a 100v 3amp diode.

Has anyone modified the panel lights so they can be dimmed ? I haven't found a wiring schematic for the display .

Hello, All!  I've decided to replace the traction batteries in my 2018 Sector E1 with a 48V Lithium set. They may be expensive, but I figure the Discovery Dry Cell are, too. I am not looking for the max driving range, as I have never received near the brochured range to begin with, but a good mix of charge/ get work done/ charge is what I am expecting.
I have settled on the 48V EAGL kit from bigbattery dot com. Each battery pack provides 30Ah. The kit ships with a charger, as well. The packs would be physically connected in parallel (using a busbar) to one another, maintaining the 48V voltage, but together would be able to provide the amp draw the buggy pulls when going up hill or towing a rake (rated 320 max continuous Amps). This is in comparison to the serial connection the eight 6V lead batteries. Each of the EAGL batteries looks to have its own BMS; am I correct in thinking I will have to use their included charger rather than (simply) changing the onboard charger to lithium mode? The chemistry of the pack is LiFe PO4, for what it's worth.  I haven't torn anything apart yet (to diagram), so  I am not sure how the dash will interpret the AMP draw, but the kit I am looking at includes a dash mounted charge indicator.
If anyone has completed a similar conversion, do you have any tips? Specifically, how did you remove the original batteries, and how did you secure the new ones? I am guessing that almost any change from the stock batteries would involve at least some modifications. Any tips would be appreciated, especially things I may have failed to consider. Thanks!

Could someone please recommend a reputable shop to troubleshoot and repair a Coleman UT 400 in the DFW TX area?

Maybe members can post where they have obtained parts and service for their Hisun produced UTVs and ATVs, including the Coleman lines.  Maybe post the model you have, what you bought,  and how the products were quality wise.  Also if you had any shop service done, where (city & state) and how it worked out for you.
