Newbie looking to buy Pioneer SxS

Hi All, 

I'm to buy a new SxS Pioneer 700-4 or 1000-5. I found a local dealer that has brand new 2016 and 2017 still on their lot.

Would anyone consider buying one of these...just wondering why they are still around and still brand new.

One big advantage with the 2017 pioneer is that they upgraded and put a better transmission in it.

I really think the main thing when buying a UTV is having a good dealer close by, for parts, service and any possible recall fixes.

Thanks, I was not aware that honda transmissions were an issue. I'm planning on going with a 2017-2019 ...best deal I can get.

Buy the 1000-5.. You won't be disappointed!! I got a buddy with a 2017 and its been a beast of a machine!! Powerful and fast for the rated power stock!! Keeps up with my other buddy's tuned and piped RzR1000 in speed and off-road capabilities no problem! He's got 3000 hard miles on and it still feels brand new! Some videos with it on my youtube..

      2016 Cub Cadet 500 runs rough

      Just picked up a Cub Cadet 500 that had shift issues (corroded fan gear) which I fixed. It also didn't seem to be running smoothly then all of a sudden it got worse. It seems to miss on both idle and when pushing the gas pedal to the floor and doesn't seem to be running at full power. I've been working with a local person who is walking me through some steps, but I'd like some input from this group as well. What I've done:
      - drained the fuel tank and replaced it with 93 octane fuel and added heet to help with any water problems.
      - replaced the fuel injector.
      - disconnected the battery (several times) to allow the module to reset.
      - set the valve clearance, both intake and exhaust, within specs ... intake was tight but exhaust seemed fine.
      - replaced the battery.
      - replaced the O2 sensor.
      Nothing has helped. Not sure what the next steps are, but would appreciate any expertise that can be offered here.

      2017 Massimo MSU500 Thermostat Malfunction

      Got a 2017 Massimo MSU500 UTV with thermostat malfunction.. hot light comes on in 4-5 minutes but radiator is ice cold... where exactly is it?  The hose neck on the head has nothing in it.  I was told it was down by oil drain plug.. only thing I see is water pump.. Is in inside pump housing?  Cant find any exploded diagrams that show it.. how to I remove it? any help would be appreciated

      I want to ditch my Kubota RTV-XG850 and its moronic twitchy throttle design flaw, get rid of the problematic engine and the 40 mph purposely throttled speed.
      So far, I'm looking at the Honda Pioneer 1000 and the Polaris Ranger 1000, both of which have 1000-1500 lb payload bed capacity.
      What other makes and models should I be looking at?
