98 mule fuel pump leaking

I’m working on a 98 mule kaf620. The fuel pump failed. It was making a loud clicking noise and would not accelerate. I replaced it with the cheapest pump I could find on amazon. It failed after a few days. We bought another pump from fuel pump factory and installed it. It began leaking from the seam in the body after about 10 minutes. I contacted them and they sent another new pump. After installing it, same thing; leaking at the seam of the pump. I’m not sure how to move forward. Does this pump have some sort of internal bypass? Being an electric pump, it cannot run all of the time. What am I missing?

Any help would really be appreciated, as a grandmother uses this to feed her cattle and is using a red wagon until it is fixed.

Go to ebay and search for kawasaki mule 2510 or whatever model fuel pump. It will be an aftermarket drop in replacement. They are all the same up to 2007 and sell for about 15 or 16 dollars. Install new fuel pump with new filter. Make sure to plug hose from fuel filter to connector marked ( in)  on pump and hose to carb is connected to (out) on pump. Best take a syringe and prime new pump with fuel into hose from the top of tank. It will save starter and battery. It is normal for pump to make clicking noise. You can also put hand on pump and turn engine over and feel the pump working.

I looked, it was like $200+ if my memory serves me right

I'd try a few different brands of the aftermarket pumps. If none of those will hold up. Then maybe the oem is the best way. I know $200 bucks is a lot of money for that little pump.  But the oem lasted this long, and 22 years is a pretty good run.

The only helpful suggestion that I could offer. Is that maybe someone who's got the time, and the internet search skills. Could possibly find out the manufacturer of the oem pump. Manufacturers typically offer lesser priced models of the stuff they produce. The only difference is packaging, and the brand. Certainly worth a try.

starts up you have keep rpms up for 5 minutes till it warms up then runs fine. But if it stalls wont start unless you unplug fuel pump and hold it to the floor till it starts then plug pump back in and run it till it warms up then it is fine all day.

Does any have a part number for the fuel pump sock for a 2016 challenger 700 efi. Does not show on any parts diagram but the old pump has one on it.

Just bought a used UTV, my first SxS.  It is extremely LOUD!   Was thinking of wearing shooting ear muffs to muffle the noise but then my passenger( wife) and I couldn't hear each other over the shouting we have to do now.... On the other hand we sometime ride with my brother and his wife and would like to be able to communicate. We throught about FRS and/or GMRS radios (we are licensed for GMRS) but we'd have to wear earphones under our ear muffs. My state doesn't require helmets to ride UTVs.
I suppose if everyone has a cheap FRS/gmrs bubble pack radio with a ear phone we could all talk to one another. Just wear an ear plug in the other ear or ear muffs.
      Looking for suggestions.

I have a yanmar longhorn 6 seater which I believe is having fuel delivery issues.  It will run off of starter fluid and will sometimes run on gas but will not idle.  Fuel pump is new and verified to put out 56 psi.  Injector is new, I'm reading 10.5 volts at the injector, gas is new.  The unit will run when the engine symbol is not present at the gauges.  Diagnostic port doesn't appear to be present, can't find it where yanmar says it should be.  Oil is full but old.  Any ideas what's going on here?  Is there a maintenance function that will shut this machine down if it has old oil?

Ive got an American Sportsworks BD-200.  I can’t get the ignition switch to work, but if I cross the solenoid, it starts right up. Runs great.  Can anyone send me a simple wiring diagram for a switch and where the 3 wires from the switch go!   Any help is greatly appreciated!!!   Thanks!
