Hey there tried to search the forum and come up with nothing, I know i have seen it here.

What  is the Delphi code reader needed to Diagnose a 2018 Hisun Sector 750, got one with spark, fuel and no run. bit bizzare.

Would like to get a code reader from alixpress or amazon or something as we don't have a local dealer, can anyone help me with a part number, or know of a good unit that works?

thanks very much

I have a OBD II Bluetooth Reader for my Car stuff, I understand its different, from Pictures It kinda looks like a RS-232 connector, but the machine is a fair way away, was kinda hoping to go to it with the tool first time,  the local dealer is not being overly helpful or interested but he is 4 hours away from the machine. LIke everything else I do, I end up fixing myself, just a extension  of my day job. Was hoping it would be a common reader ( I am was told its not OBD II, but hey i was also told the fault comes up on the dash and it doesn't on this one)

if i can't find a reader I will sort it, just would be nice to have the tool.

If you recognize an RS-232 connector. You just gave away your age - lol - I have the same issue - I tried to find a reader also - I am not sure if you can buy one unless you are a dealer or an authorized service center - still ticked off and waiting for someone richer than me to sue John Deere - you own a 200,000 dollar tractor but not the 500 dollar ECU that runs everything on it - Detroit tried that for years until the government demanded a standard that every car sold in the USA had to follow - was OBD2, now CAN

RS-232 ;) yup, but I will be honest, we still use it in GPS hardware I work on, Serial with Baud Rates from 1hz to 20hz 19,200 to 115,400 its simple and it works!

I am with you on the JD I refuse to own JD powered products, had JD techs tell me they don't like my stuff in there customers machines, it seems when some people get a job for a large manufacturer like that they loose all ability to think. This is why I will advocate for any company, but there service has to be good. more companies and brands in a market, the more diluted the presence of any one in particular.

People like a sense of belonging and the marketing departments capitalise on this, some will never buy another brand in fear of being judged by others, some ford owners will never buy chevy etc, so what happens then is if the service is bad there is still a high probability they will buy another from the same brand, we farm with 4 brands of tractors, I have had many different brand cars, I like variety and buy on function.

the service has been bad on this Hisun, it stopped the end of January, dad is 4 hours from the dealer, he was going to come look, now complains it's too far, but he was happy to deliver it to us for free (we will pay for his travel, but he says yeah I will be there and never turns up lol), he has promised and never delivered, its done 200 hours in 7 months, it sits dead in the shed, so my father is using his other bike, if the dealer showed a interest in it earlier I would not be so upset. As from now I cannot recommend a Hisun Vector 750 to anyone unless the dealer is local, and he has a will to keep business, and gives a damn about you. I admit there has been a lock down with the Virus, but Couriers run every day, and diagnostic computers can be couriered, so can sensors. but we have had nothing. If i ever get to look at it myself, i am guessing its either a sensor, or valve clearance or something.....till then its dead in the shed and everyone in the neighbourhood has seen it there lol.......building a brand is a team effort huh!.....next one we buy will be a kubota or yamaha or something, no worry.

As I tried to do a conversion with the Yamaha 660 motor, I realized the 660 was never fuel injected so it would not work for the fuel injected hisun motor swap. But the good thing is the hisun 750 motor is a clone of the 660 Yamaha but with the components for the fuel injection (cam/crank position sensor). So that left me with a new rebuilt Yamaha 660 and still a broke 750 hisun motor. I took apart 750 think the timing chain had broke from all that I've heard about these motors. The chain was not broke, but just off cam and crank gears! The chain tensioner was at fault!  I've ordered Yamaha 660 replacement parts, chain, two exhaust valves (which got bent when chain came off while motor was spinning) and seals. The piston has 2 little nicks where it had hit valves but no damage otherwise. The head is being redone at the machine shop and I'll be putting it back together in the next couple of weeks. Also I finally tracked down a Service Manual with all the info on the 550/750 Challenger.

We have a 2018 Cub Cadet Challenger 400 and I found this Internally Threaded Bolt with a 10mm head size laying in the floor of the shop bay here on our ranch where we park the Cub Cadet.
Trying to figure out where it belongs...

I've had a Hisun Vector E1 for just a bit longer than is required for me to do some maintenance. While it's well-overdue, it only drives 1.5km a few times each week on a fairly decent gravel road (to the letterbox), and it has worked really well right from the get-go.
Looking at the manual it states that I need to use SAE80 API GL-4 Hypoid Gear Oil for the Main gear Case, and SAE80 API GL-5 Hypoid Gear Oil for the Front gear Case - unfortunately i can't find either of those online here in Australia. Plenty of options that look close, but, as someone who has never driven any vehicle before, I want to use the right thing and it's a tad confusing.
My question: Since there are no oils that are bang on SAE80 (they all seem to cover a range) would Liqui Moly Hypoid GL4 Gear Oil 80W-90  & Motorex Hypoid GL-5 Gear Oil 80W90 - be ok to use? (Or any other suggestions of what I might be able to purchase online in Australia) And would I have to drain out any existing oil from both gear cases?
This is a whole new world for me and  being able to find exactly what is specified in the manual hasn't made this easy!

I have a 2018 cub cadet challenger 750 I bought brand new almost 2 years ago the first month I had it the exhaust broke and burnt the spark plug wire in two that was a recall so the dealership installed the new one it had a different design and it bolted up to the bottom two plugs below the spark plug the dealership said they had to Adjust the exhaust valves I get the machine back thanking everything is good now wrong not even a week after I get it back the timing chain tensioner comes apart inside the motor I take it back to the dealership They put one on I get the machine back thanking everything is good but then just like before not even a week goes by when I was riding the Machine automatically quits going come to find out the wet clutch was burned up the primary clutch head stripped off of the splines I get that fixed and then  it overheats I take it back they bleed the air out of the coolant they bring it back to me the same day that I get it back it overheats again I take it back they temporarily fix it again just enough to let the warranty run out and now the machine has been to multiple different mechanics I have had them try to bleed the air out they have stood it up on its end I have had the water pump changed I have had the fan hooked to a switch so I could leave it on all the time but still almost 2 years later not even 200 hours on the machine and I cannot ride it The dealership will not take it back as a lemon I have tried I am at my wits end I have no clue what to try next
