Does anyone know the gear ratios of the Trans & Diffs? If not and you have to have work, get the ratios or number of teeth on the gears. If I have to replace the engine someday it will be will something with more POWER so I/you will need the gear rations. Worst case would to be travel to the shop in Phoenix.

Thanks,

Rocmoc, i think the gear ratio is 286,s I read it some wear but don,t remember. I know it is high, we are getting our low gearing through the tranny, it must be under driven.

Hi Flatbed,

That is my concern finding tranny gearing low enough for the stock diffs. May have to find a replacement diff if I ever want to go to a different engine & trans. I really would like more power but do not want to go to a turbo. When ya think we will see aftermarket motor parts at the local speed shop. LOL! The HP produced by Honda, Toy & Subaru is outstanding now days. We leave Sunday but will have the laptop with us. See ya in Jan.

Thanks

Rocmoc, i think there is more power in the intake system. The intake manifold is what you would use for a high reving engine, plus the you know the throutle body could be bigger, and than you have the long distance the air has to flow in the aircleaner system. Build a new intake plentem with the trottle body up on top, you can put the air cleaner next to it, i think we would pick up alot of bottom-end. I would not think these engines run this way when they are in the cars in china. I don't want a turbo either, break to many parts, but it would be nice to get 25 more hp on the bottom end.

Rocmoc, The gear ratio for the differentials is:

Ring Gear 32 teeth

Pinion Gear 15 teeth

Gear Ratio 2.13

I dont know what the trans ratio is.

Yes, There is a Joyner dealer in Idhao that had a rear diff. housing somehow break but the gears are good. He called Joyner and had them do a breakdown cost on new comp. diff and he said that a new set of gears would run $350.00 so he offered me his used set for $200.00

We have a 2018 Cub Cadet Challenger 400 and I found this Internally Threaded Bolt with a 10mm head size laying in the floor of the shop bay here on our ranch where we park the Cub Cadet.
Trying to figure out where it belongs...

I've had a Hisun Vector E1 for just a bit longer than is required for me to do some maintenance. While it's well-overdue, it only drives 1.5km a few times each week on a fairly decent gravel road (to the letterbox), and it has worked really well right from the get-go.
Looking at the manual it states that I need to use SAE80 API GL-4 Hypoid Gear Oil for the Main gear Case, and SAE80 API GL-5 Hypoid Gear Oil for the Front gear Case - unfortunately i can't find either of those online here in Australia. Plenty of options that look close, but, as someone who has never driven any vehicle before, I want to use the right thing and it's a tad confusing.
My question: Since there are no oils that are bang on SAE80 (they all seem to cover a range) would Liqui Moly Hypoid GL4 Gear Oil 80W-90  & Motorex Hypoid GL-5 Gear Oil 80W90 - be ok to use? (Or any other suggestions of what I might be able to purchase online in Australia) And would I have to drain out any existing oil from both gear cases?
This is a whole new world for me and  being able to find exactly what is specified in the manual hasn't made this easy!

      Hi
I have a 2022 hisun sector eps 550. 30amp fuse is blown for eps. Checked the motor and it’s fine. Opened up the controller and found a bad diode. Dealer wanted 500$ for the controller. Just posting this in case it helps someone. I couldn’t read numbers from the old one so just took a guess and replaced it with a 100v 3amp diode.

My buddy has a ut400 that the forward gear keeps popping out of gear. She only has like 400 miles on the odometer .the shift cable has been adjusted and the shift lever has been updated / modified. All other gears are good. Is there an internal detent cam or something that wears out or shift fork that can be replaced ? Or is there some other magic that I can perform ? Looks like the engine needs to be split.
