I can not figure this out. I can get the same speed in high or low range. Rpm in high is 4500 in low range it is 7000. same speed. I use it on my small farm but some time I will go to the river to fish or visit friends several miles away. I am not a kid trying to tear things up I am a 70 yo disabled Vietnam Vet. I would just be happy at 30mph. I sent e-mail to factory but never got a response. My local service dealer is closed over this viris scare. Any help would be welcome.

You might try changing the oil. They have a wet clutch and require API SG oil.  Mine did way better when I changed mine.  I used Castrol Motorcycle oil as it was the only one I could find out here with the SG. I'm 70 years old as well.

I did change oil, no change. It is hitting the rev limit when in gets to 23, no slipping of clutch it will pull a hill with no problem just will not go any faster than 23.

Took it out today put a few more miles on it when I got to 75 miles it did better, now I can get 24mph before the rev limit .

23 mph seems low.  My MSU 500 does 38 mph ... on the days that it actually runs .. Oh btw, dont bother calling Massimo... they rarely answer, never call back if you leave message, and if they do, they know nothing and wont help you in any way

I'm sure there's a limiter. I've had my mule on a robust downhill plunge. Got er up to a whopping 40 mph. Got a little scary, because this thing drives like a tractor. It's probably limited for a good reason.

Hey............I too have about 50 miles or so but have had the Buck for about 10 months.....just did my first oil change today.  I get 27 to 30 mph in low and 40 mph or so in high.  I've only tried high a couple of times (bc of breakin period) so I suspect it will go faster.

Richard, I'm betting you have the wrong ecu in your machine.  Call Massimo and  they will send you the right one.  Where the law limits slow moving vehicles to 25 mph is where the ecu you have is used.

Massimo does not answer emails or phone calls. and never return phone messages.. They got your monery, they could not care less what problems you have.. They arethe worst company I have ever seen. Try ordering the part online from others

Update after oil change (crazy that there is no oil filter).  Yesterday in low with my wife (I'm 235 lb and she's 130 lb) - 27 mph at 8000 rpm (started to hesitate consistently at this speed and rpm); 45 mph in high around 5500 - 6000 rpm.

I got my Buck 400 up to seventy -five MPH yesterday, I slowed down to 55 MPH because  I was afraid the top was gonna come off and I was on a Farm to Market road.

Yeah It was on a trailer behind my old Chevy pickup!

Must be Canadian rpms versus US - You guys south of the border are a  bit more laid back - probably affects the engine of your UTVs :)

I have a Coleman UTV 400 and looking for something to store it in.  Preferably something vinyl or plastic with its own base that can stand alone outside and house the UTV.  I think the dimensions of the UT400 are around 106" long 52" wide and 74" tall.
What should I consider that won't break the bank?

I just purchased a used 2023 Massimo warrior UTV SxS 1000mx with 600 miles on it. I didn't even get a full day of riding and the driver's side rear axle broke. I'm pretty sure it was already going bad because we would hear a noise once in a while. I'm wondering if anyone else has had problems with theirs. Also looking for places to buy accessories.
