Jim Baldwin Relinquishes Operations of

Championship Off Road Racing

Newport Beach, CA (December 5, 2008)--Today, CORR owner Jim Baldwin has announced that he is stepping down as CEO of Championship Off Road Racing. While retaining ownership, Mr. Baldwin will relinquish control of the day to day operations and management of the off road racing series and elevate Cissy Baldwin to CEO. PMF Event Services Executive Producer, Jason Markham, will be also joining Cissy Baldwin on the management team.

In just under four years since purchasing CORR, Mr. Baldwin brought short course off road racing to national level. Despite difficulties brought on by the current economic recession, CORR has experienced triple digit growth in all aspects including spectator attendance, race participants, national awareness, and television viewers.

Mr. Baldwin made the following statement:

"Long before purchasing CORR in 2005, off road racing has been my passion and my pride. My family and I have had an amazing experience both in off road racing and being so deeply involved in the sport. Seeing the potential, I purchased CORR with the goal of developing a national presence. In the past few years, we have seen our efforts pay off as CORR and short course racing entered into the national motor sports spotlight. Recently I have experienced challenges but I have no doubt that CORR has the potential to succeed. Cissy Baldwin has clearly demonstrated her abilities and I have full faith and confidence that she will steer CORR to the next level. It is with a heavy heart, with the best interest in the future of CORR and short course racing, that I must now step aside from managing the operations of the series to empower the CORR management team to carry on this vision."

As Mr. Baldwin hands over the reins of the series he will devote his efforts to his real estate business and other business interests that have become his primary focus. While it remains the premier short course racing series in the nation, the CORR team is continuing to develop a revised plan for the 2009 season that will build upon the progress that has been developed under Mr. Baldwin's leadership.

Championship Off Road Racingâ„¢ brings high action, four wheel motorsports including two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive trucks to the closed course off road arena.

I just purchased a used 2023 Massimo warrior UTV SxS 1000mx with 600 miles on it. I didn't even get a full day of riding and the driver's side rear axle broke. I'm pretty sure it was already going bad because we would hear a noise once in a while. I'm wondering if anyone else has had problems with theirs. Also looking for places to buy accessories.

Just received delivery of a 2024 AMP Pro.  Thought I'd start a thread with my impressions as I use it and learn more.  There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of real-world usage information out there on this model.  Hope this will help others as they research.
      Intended Use Cases
Fire mitigation / slash removal from a 5 acre forested and well-gamble-oaked property.  The previous owners thought as much about fire mitigation as I do about fashion: not much. Snow removal Stump pulling General hauling (rock, lumber, etc.) Weimaraner energy depletion.  Wasn't an original use case, but a nice added bonus.  Experiences So Far
Wasn't impressed that two of the bumpers on the underside of the bed where it sits upon the frame were missing.  The metal on metal contact has damaged the powder coating and the frame.  I expect a little better QC.
I've only put a few hours on it, so not a ton to report on usage.  It isn't quiet; it's silent.  I can't even detect an electric note from the motor. I removed (and subsequently replaced) the motor cover noticed that the motor is German and made by Schambuller.  The motor controller is Italian and made by Dana TM4.  Given the operating specs of both I found on the web, I suspect both are higher quality than the previous Navitas (which is supposed to be decent).  The motor is rated at 25 hp and 71.5 lb-ft of torque.  It feels very powerful.  All the torque is delivered instantly, if desired.
The bed is huge and has an electric dump as standard.  Great feature but would like it to go up a bit more.  Probably not feasible from an engineering perspective, but I want and I need ;).
Power steering is nice, but vague.  Probably common to many UTVs, but I am accustomed to more direct results from input.  Plan early and plan often.
In our first full day of usage, we hauled about 1/2 as much slash as the entire rest of the year when I was doing it by hand cart.  I may get fatter, but I'll also get more done.  After a few days of usage, the battery meter has gone down by 1/10th.
      Until next time...

I'm sure many of you are aware of Michigan's emergency brake requirement.  I'm wondering if anyone has a good solution.
Beyond paying the few fab places $$$$.. I'm curious is there another rear caliper with e brake style that would interchange with slight mods to  the Maverick sport rear mounting bracket?

      Hey there,
I’m trying to find a CVT (variator) for my Tracker Off Road 800SX Crew. Do you happen to have one, or know where I can get it?
Also, if you’ve got any other parts for this model, I’d love to hear about them!
      Thanks a lot!
