I bought a new oil pressure sending unit for my 2008 Trooper T2 (see first picture attached). When I went to install it I found out the sensor on my machine looks like the sensor for a Renegade (see second picture attached). Has anyone ever seen this? I know this is not a retro fit since because the threaded tube that connects it to the engine is a much smaller diameter than the stock part.

What is the proper part number for the unit so I can get a replacement?

The first image is for CARS that use the Chery engine.  They are wired for the warning light only.

Amazon has a VDO 360 025 Oil Pressure Sending has a range of 0-150 psi.  If your gauge goes from 0-150 psi, this is the one that should work.  It will operate the analog gauge and warning light.

I went to Amazon and searched for "VDO Oil Pressure Sending Unit".  This one is used for gauges that displays pressures from 0-150psi.  I don't have a parts manual so I can't compare them.  Amazon does list one from China but it's not available and they don't know if or when it will become available again.  After further searching, I found others on Amazon for around $20.  It's for a diesel generator but the specs and brand are the same as for the one I showed you.  They are VDO brands but don't carry the VDO part numbers.

I've been having misfire issues with my UTV 400 when it gets warm and I've thrown all kinds of parts at it so far with no permanent resolution.  Today I removed the O2 sensor and it is black on the end.  To me that means it's running rich and/or the sensor isn't working.  I replaced the sensor with a new one and will see how it goes I guess.  With EFI, I'm wondering why the sensor would be this way with low hours and mileage?  Is there a way to adjust or lean out fueling on these?  Thanks in advance.

I want to ditch my Kubota RTV-XG850 and its moronic twitchy throttle design flaw, get rid of the problematic engine and the 40 mph purposely throttled speed.
So far, I'm looking at the Honda Pioneer 1000 and the Polaris Ranger 1000, both of which have 1000-1500 lb payload bed capacity.
What other makes and models should I be looking at?

      Thanks for the help!

Looking for information on installing a OBD port or a lite to read codes in ECM.
I can not find a OBD port or a lite to read codes on this R2 with 800cc.
I have code readers and adapters for most ATV's. From what I've found so far. They don't have a connection for to read codes. I may be wrong. That's why I'm asking.
This R2 has had new IAC, TPS, MAP, fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump replaced. This was done by neighbor to try to stop surging. It still surges on start up and then settles down. But once you hit the accelerator it revs up to 2000+ rpm and stays till you block off IAC port in throttle body with finger. Once you do that it once again settles down and idles perfectly.
I want to know what the ECM is reading to help dio it.
This joyner is the first one I've run across. Well second one in a week. (my neighbors 2 of them) The other was a trooper with the 1100cc chery motor that had been setting for years. After cleaning up the fuse box connections. It runs like a top. Had to replace all gages with aftermarket gages. Water, oil, gas, amp. Only problem one was the water temp using original sending unit. Had to install 150 ohm resistor on the input wire to get it to read correctly + - 5 degrees. Close enough. Gas sending unit was/is for a boat tank 6" tall. All SS so it should last forever.

      Hi All
Just installed a predator 670 on my Landmaster. My question is can I remove the low oil pressure wire fitting and plumb my mechanical gauge into that access point?
Thanks in advance for your advice !!

hello, my BMS Stallion 600 is having accleration issues. the manual fails to show final gear oil diagrams very well... I have the owners manual and suspect issue is associated to transmission , I want to check the level of the gearoil. I located a drain plug (but not the fill plug nor dipstick). It will run - but wont exceede 2mph. Troubleshooting suggestions or comprehensive manual suggestions? Thanks
