Has anyone replaced the stock shocks and springs on their 2015 Dominator 800 X2 to ride alittle smoother are just changing the springs out.I gotten alittle spoiled riding in my son's rzr 1000xp.

My wife just made a comment why don't ride as smooth as our son's thing.lol

I'm 62 she's 61 the little rough ride doesn't really bother me. I drive a concrete mixer for a living.

I really like the Odes it's pretty good power for for only 800cc

I took off the cat and the stock muffler. Put a glasspack with 2" inlet and outlet it has a good deep tone and not really very loud. I'll find out Sunday when we hit the woods .It's definitely more peppy.

If you have the black end shocks with gold body and red spring those are rebuildable and revalveable, But with that said usually they are just low on nitrogen or don't have any nitrogen left in them.

I picked up a set of 4 rzr 800 shocks and springs  . We got front put on and wow what a difference. 2 of us pushing Down on the front bumper couldn't get it to give maybe a 1/2 "

The rzr springs are just like when I pressed down on my son's rzr 1000xp.

I only lost 1/2" of ground clearance down to 12" my steering rack came in today .I'm making new mounts for a rzr rack. Mine broke last week. Broke the mounting tabs off the rack and the frame mounts bent. They were bent when I got the machine. I'm going with hiem joints also. Have extra parts from my son's rzr. We are adding 3 " to the wheel base by use 2018 Yamaha wolverine rear A  arm very little modifications to use them just my opinion. My soninlaw had a new set he has extra.

Rear has 12.5 " of ground clearance now. Had to raise the bed up 3" to clear the shocks. Also moved the bed ram bottom mount to the rear by the back part of the frame. We put a new crossmember in replace of the original shock crossmember because we had to cut it to align the frame.I guess mine was made on a monday after the welder had a bad weekend. Lol the upper frame was out of square. The machine dog tracked bad. Didn't notice it when I bought it..  Soninlaw is a great body man very good at what he does. Still have to make the plate that bolts to the Aarm bushings bolts to hold them in 0place after alignment.

Hopefully this week we'll get the Polaris steering rack and EPS on. The original brackets for the rack is bent up and twisted up. The new one definitely will be stronger..

This video was with the 2011 Polaris 800 s shocks
We changed to the fox shocks after that .
It was dark when I took it for a ride tonight when we got done.it still smooth but feels like it has less body role with fox over the stock Polaris ones. The fox shocks were the same length as the Polaris ones. They came off a 700 2 seater wolverine than my soninlaw picked up for his wolverine but wouldn't work different years and his is a 4 seater. So I ended up with them. Have to have the 30" tire put on yet.
With the fox shock I have 12" front and back ground clearance.

Update with the 30"on and shock adjustment I have 14" ground clearance and very smooth.we set the shocks up the way Shock Therapy advised. They have very in depth videos how to set them up.to get the most out of your suspension.

what year raz 800 shock did you use in the first post I have an 18 odes 4x dominator my stock shocks are bad a just want to replaced with something simple I have a plow on it so I think the rzor one would work. I really don't want to spend 2000 on the fox

Is yours a LT  are a ST

The rzr shocks were off the 800s

I think they were 2014 I don't remember exactly

If you're running a plow they will be to soft. Have a great ride but not good for that kind of weight.

interesting, I wonder if the 4p rzr shocks would work on an 1000 LT.. wouldn't mind an upgrade myself.

Take your bottom shocks off and measure the length from eyelet to eyelet.  Then you can look up the length of the shock of other makes and models. And also compare the weight of the machines.

Watch videos of Shock therapy on setting up your springs well worth it.

I don't have but13 to 14 inches of ground clearance but have very good articulation.

I need a pair of front shocks for a Landpride Treker 4200NT, from 2005?  Does anyone know of a good salvage yard - or another source?
The old shocks have "SEBAC 11685 12 3" stamped on them (or something very close - it's hard to read). I think SEBAC are (were?) an Italian company.
Is there a compatible shock I can use? I don't have easy access to a scrap yard where I can compare shocks etc.
      Thanks,
      -Kim

I have a 2018 cub cadet challenger 750 I bought brand new almost 2 years ago the first month I had it the exhaust broke and burnt the spark plug wire in two that was a recall so the dealership installed the new one it had a different design and it bolted up to the bottom two plugs below the spark plug the dealership said they had to Adjust the exhaust valves I get the machine back thanking everything is good now wrong not even a week after I get it back the timing chain tensioner comes apart inside the motor I take it back to the dealership They put one on I get the machine back thanking everything is good but then just like before not even a week goes by when I was riding the Machine automatically quits going come to find out the wet clutch was burned up the primary clutch head stripped off of the splines I get that fixed and then  it overheats I take it back they bleed the air out of the coolant they bring it back to me the same day that I get it back it overheats again I take it back they temporarily fix it again just enough to let the warranty run out and now the machine has been to multiple different mechanics I have had them try to bleed the air out they have stood it up on its end I have had the water pump changed I have had the fan hooked to a switch so I could leave it on all the time but still almost 2 years later not even 200 hours on the machine and I cannot ride it The dealership will not take it back as a lemon I have tried I am at my wits end I have no clue what to try next
