2015 ODES Dominator X4 800cc CVT problems

Hey guys...I have a 2015 ODES Dominator X4 800cc...I had recently tore the belt up and was able to get a new one on and had no problems.  The other day I got stuck and smoked the clutch out a bit trying to get out and since that time I have had a constant "clicking" noise coming from the primary clutch.  Then noise is present at idle and low speeds but goes away under load.  I took the clutch apart and assume that this noise is coming from either the clutch sliders/weights or shoes.  I plan on replacing these soon.

However, today I put the clutch back together to get the bus out there and ride around the neighborhood and I have a "jolty" start and while cruising in "H" the secondary clutch suddenly opens wide and I lose power.  When revved the secondary clutch will not grab and continues to open.  I can place the UTV back into "N' and then back to "H"...the secondary clutch stops spinning and the belt grabs as normal and I can continue on.  Anyone have any idea what is going on or have experienced similar problems?

The sheaths look ok...I replaced the sliders/weights and shoes...the “clicking” noise is gone with those replacements.

I still have the problem with the primary opening wide while driving and I lose power...I have not adjusted the shift rod and have no idea how to do that...any ideas??

You mean upshifting too fast?

I don't have the image of the 800 shift rod assy but I need to make a tutorial for that.
Put the shifter in N and make sure lever on gearbox is straight up and then adjust rod adjusters so the rod free floats.

I’m not sure what to call it...it does not necessarily “shift” up because I lose all power and have put the machine back into N and then place into H again to resume driving...not sure if that makes sense

if you are able to open the video on the original post that shows it in action.

I will check the shifter and gear box when I get back at it again...thanks for the help!!

What belt do you have on there?

I originally had the DAYCO XTX 2236 from the dealer but then switched to the Gates 30C3750 based on another recommendation...both seem to work well...not sure it is a belt issue...??

No it is not a belt issue but i noticed the excessive belt whipping, When you run the Ultimx UXP446, XTX2236, 30C3750 then it is wise to shim the driven to remove some of that excessive slack from the belt. That shift rod has a couple adjustments so set it in N and then move the lever all the way and make sure rod ends floats and then all the other way and then check again.

Hi everybody. I just bought a 2012 Hisun with the 700cc engine. Was wondering where i could find a service manual for this thing?
Its going to need some parts that are missing, like the air intake hoses and other things. Also the dash display is out. the only light that works is neutral light. Not even sure on the model. from pics I've seen, it looks like an HS700. Kind of grey with the black stripes on the hood. Just hoping i can find parts for it.
Thank you for any advice you can give me. By the way, it does run and goes forward and reverse.

Recently I had an overheating issue on my 2022 Coleman Outfitter 550 (Hisun UT550) and to check to make sure it was fixed I took it out for a ride around the block. After a couple cycles on the LED coolant meter, I took it for a couple mile ride and on my way back I heard a loud metallic snap then a grinding noise. It was still able to move under its own power but very slowly. I was about 2 blocks from the truck so 'I limped it home and up onto the trailer. I know I need to tear it apart and look for what broke, but anyone have a guess as to where to start? I'm seriously getting tired of this damn machine! 750 miles on it and already replaced the belt, wet clutch, primary clutch, clutch roller weights among a few other things. Seriously, this friggin machine has spent more time on the lift than on the road. I thought I bought this new because it was from the owner of a tractor supply, but he registered it under the stores name making me the 2nd owner voiding any and all warranties.
Any Ideas what to look for would be appreciated.
      Thanks

      Hi All,
Just picked  up a 2020 UT400 that my 80 year old father will be driving around the farm.  We purchased the machine with a few "issues" and they lowered the price accordingly.  Small stuff like passenger size mirror and back reflector was torn off by a Tractor supply employee, which we will order replacements for.  Also after further inspection, whoever assembled it did not put a few bolts in the rollcage and aren't in the glovebox, so will be having to order those also.
Anyway, there are two initial things on the UT400 I'm not sure what they are or for.  The first, there is a square white electrical connector with about 8 pins hanging form under the middle of the back bed - I don't see another one to match up or plug into it, so wondering if this is pre installed optional connection for like towing around a sprayer?  Anyone know what this is?  Also, there is a 10 inch black rubber hose that is zip tied to the back A frame on the passenger side.  I watched the assembly video and it doesn't mention one, so don't know what this hose is for - anyone know?
Also, has anyone come up with a "fix" or work around for having to have the seatbelts plugged in or even in place?  We aren't planning on using them and are figuring just plugging them in and wedging them behind the seats - didn't know if there is a way to just disconnect the "over 10mph gas starving" safety sensor.
Looking forward to seeing how this machine does for my father.   I'm thinking about installing a suicide knob on it for easier turning for him, as it's a little stiff (compared to our Kawasaki Mule).  Maybe with use it will loosen up some?
      Thanks!

I'm looking at picking up this UTV and this is what the owner says:
"All I know about it is it runs. Display does not work and it will not move! Front end or trans could be locked up. It moves some, but does not sound good."
My question is, what could the moving issue be, and how can I check it out when I look at it? I feel the price is right at $2000, but I'd like to know what I'm getting into.
