New machine has 4 hours on it, 2 that I've put on.  Upon shutting it off, there's a very strong "new oil" burn smell.  Can I assume this will eventually go away with more hours?

Welcome to the UTV Board!

I know an engine may burn a little oil while the piston rings are still being broke in, usually a break in period lasts 20 hours, ( but rings usually seat pretty quick) , keep an eye on the oil level just in a case there is a leak.

Do you ever see smoke, or just smell burnt oil?

No, don't see any smoke thankfully.  Break-in is 20 hours and plan on letting the dealer do all required maintenance at least for the first time.  Thanks for the answer!

Have had my Tracker 800 SX since June 2020 and really enjoy the ease of entry and exit.  Just discovered a major issue that everyone should know about.  I purchased my machine at Bass Pro in Nashville, TN and had my break in service done at the Nashville Service center.  Used the UTV for hunting last fall and then put it away for winter.  Got it out today to play in the snow and found that the cooling system was frozen.  (that Polar Vortex in Feb of 2021, brought us 8 degree temperatures here in western Kentucky.)  Called Nashville service and they report they do not put any anti-freeze in the system when they do a service , just check the water level.  I cannot believe anyone sells a water cooled machine without insuring antifreeze protection in a new machine.  So here is the bottom line.  If you buy a new,$13,000 Tracker 800 SX do not assume it has antifreeze in it.  I appears you must take the new machine home, drain the radiator and then put in your own antifreeze.

Just received delivery of a 2024 AMP Pro.  Thought I'd start a thread with my impressions as I use it and learn more.  There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of real-world usage information out there on this model.  Hope this will help others as they research.
      Intended Use Cases
Fire mitigation / slash removal from a 5 acre forested and well-gamble-oaked property.  The previous owners thought as much about fire mitigation as I do about fashion: not much. Snow removal Stump pulling General hauling (rock, lumber, etc.) Weimaraner energy depletion.  Wasn't an original use case, but a nice added bonus.  Experiences So Far
Wasn't impressed that two of the bumpers on the underside of the bed where it sits upon the frame were missing.  The metal on metal contact has damaged the powder coating and the frame.  I expect a little better QC.
I've only put a few hours on it, so not a ton to report on usage.  It isn't quiet; it's silent.  I can't even detect an electric note from the motor. I removed (and subsequently replaced) the motor cover noticed that the motor is German and made by Schambuller.  The motor controller is Italian and made by Dana TM4.  Given the operating specs of both I found on the web, I suspect both are higher quality than the previous Navitas (which is supposed to be decent).  The motor is rated at 25 hp and 71.5 lb-ft of torque.  It feels very powerful.  All the torque is delivered instantly, if desired.
The bed is huge and has an electric dump as standard.  Great feature but would like it to go up a bit more.  Probably not feasible from an engineering perspective, but I want and I need ;).
Power steering is nice, but vague.  Probably common to many UTVs, but I am accustomed to more direct results from input.  Plan early and plan often.
In our first full day of usage, we hauled about 1/2 as much slash as the entire rest of the year when I was doing it by hand cart.  I may get fatter, but I'll also get more done.  After a few days of usage, the battery meter has gone down by 1/10th.
      Until next time...

I have a 2017 Intimidator XD4 800cc 4x4.  It will run great and then it's like it goes into safe mode and only runs on 1 cylinder.  It's not fouling out the plug when it happens.  Some times when I stop and restart it, it works fine.  First I thought it was a spark issue, then a fuel issue, but I feel like it's a short in the wiring some place.

Just wondering if anyone has had problems with bed warping coming from the heat from the muffler.. If I ride more than 5 minutes my bed starts warping from the heat.. Does anyone have any recommendations on what wrap or shield I can get to prevent this before my bed starts cracking or the warping becomes permanent.. I only have about 50hrs on the UTV.. Basspro said they haven’t had this problem from anyone else.. Hard to believe..

I have a 2023 Tracker 800SX LE that I want to add a sway bar to.
The service manual shows how to remove and reinstall the sway bar.
I called Cabela's to try and get the saw bar.   They said they can't get one and the 800SX doesn't have one!!??  Then why is it listed in the service manual?? No answer from them.
Have any of you found a saw bar that fits and what did it cost?
