Greetings all

I have a 99 kawasaki mule 550  kaf300c3 That I ordered new valve guides for. Problem is my valves don't fit in new valve guides. Part number is correct.

Is it possible that valve guides need to be installed and reamed before the valves will fit into the  guides?   Just seems like an awful lot of material to have to remove by reaming.

Thanks for any help

Yes, they will need to be installed and reamed by a machinist. Or Kawasaki did sell a special tool for guide reaming, P/N 57001-162 but good luck finding it. might could ask a local Kawasaki dealer. I remember back when i did my mule, one of the valve guides (exhaust i think) moved in the head, so went ahead and bought 2 new guides, the machinist didn't have the right reamer, so they measured the I.D. and found it within spec so they just pressed the guide back down, it's stayed so far.

What's wrong with yours?

might try measuring the O.D. of the valve stem , might could compensate for some wear with new valves. But of course if the guide bore I.D. is too large then that won't work.

Belt started slipping when I used it in high gear. It works okay in low unless I'm trying to power it up a hill and then it slips.., Ordered a new belt and went to change it and found a good bit of oil in the belt housing. Has anyone experienced this? Belt looks fine. Only have 300 miles on this thing..

I recently purchased a 2024 Hisun 550 Sector from Kreps Service Station and am having issues with the gear selector, I am doing as instructed in the owners manual but the shifter acts like it is binding or the button lock isn't releasing, the shifter will not move, I have to wiggle it back and forth while pushing hard on the brake and if it's in park or reverse it's nearly impossible to get it to move, I contacted Justin Krep and he says this is normal with these machines, I find that hard to believe, I've owned many utvs and side x sides and have never had this kind of issue with any of them, any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks for accepting me!
Haven't got a side by side yet, but have been shopping.
Any advice welcome & I am on a limited budget, so haven't decided yet on new or used.

I just purchased a used 2023 Massimo warrior UTV SxS 1000mx with 600 miles on it. I didn't even get a full day of riding and the driver's side rear axle broke. I'm pretty sure it was already going bad because we would hear a noise once in a while. I'm wondering if anyone else has had problems with theirs. Also looking for places to buy accessories.

Does anyone have any suggestions for aftermarket shocks.  I have a T-Boss 550 and took it riding in some rough trails and the stock suspension was uncomfortably rough.
      Thanks
