Greetings all!

Purchased a 2021 T-Boss X-Golf 550 about three weeks ago and am having a blast with this thing!  It's a very capable and well built machine.

I've put 30 hours and 400 miles on it so far.  I've really put it through its paces too.  Been tearing around the sand dunes, climbing very considerable hills with no problem, tore through some light mud and even hauled around a couple adults around the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights!

Did my after break-in service and am using Lucas oil for oil changes and differential changes.  The manual calls for 15w40 but couldn't find any so after speaking to Massimo the said 10w40 Lucas atv oil was fine.

Anyhow, I've done the "cooling fan jumper wire" mod almost right away.  I've also installed an overhead stereo system that looks like it belongs in there stock along with some LED's.  I have an underglow kit and light bar I'll be adding during the Christmas break so I'll add pics once those are installed.

Here's a link to the overhead speaker box if anyone is interested.  I can take better pics if interested in how I mounted it.

if it doesn't have a wet clutch, Shell Rotella 15w40 is an excellent oil to use.

Thanks for the reply.  It does have a wet clutch.  I researched Rotella a ton.  From what I gather, the old white bottle Rotella was ok for wet clutches but the newer stuff T5 and T6 supposedly have friction modifiers that cause the clutch to slip.  Lucas atv oil fits the bill except that it's 10w40 and not 15w40.  I spoke with the techs at Massimo and the said they don't see a problem with it as long as it's a quality oil and JASO MA rated.

I use Castrol ACTEVO 10W30 .. use it in all 4 of my ATVs too, for many years..   good for WET clutches .. I sincerely hope that by modifying the fan ,your engine will never blow head or gasket like so many have.  Y ou made it to 400 miles which is way more than mine did before the overheating  killed it ... I hope you get many  years of fun  out of it.. Merry Christmas

I hope so too.  I keep a close eye on the temp, now I just have to train my wife to do the same.

I'm glad you mentioned the Castrol.  I'll take a look locally to see if they have it.  Always nice to just be able to go grab what you need instead of waiting for it to be shipped.

I installed the underglow kit and curved light bar today.  Here's a couple of pics of how they turned out.  I'll get wider shots later.

Merry Christmas to you too!

I recently purchased a 2024 Hisun 550 Sector from Kreps Service Station and am having issues with the gear selector, I am doing as instructed in the owners manual but the shifter acts like it is binding or the button lock isn't releasing, the shifter will not move, I have to wiggle it back and forth while pushing hard on the brake and if it's in park or reverse it's nearly impossible to get it to move, I contacted Justin Krep and he says this is normal with these machines, I find that hard to believe, I've owned many utvs and side x sides and have never had this kind of issue with any of them, any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Coleman UTV 400 and looking for something to store it in.  Preferably something vinyl or plastic with its own base that can stand alone outside and house the UTV.  I think the dimensions of the UT400 are around 106" long 52" wide and 74" tall.
What should I consider that won't break the bank?

Belt started slipping when I used it in high gear. It works okay in low unless I'm trying to power it up a hill and then it slips.., Ordered a new belt and went to change it and found a good bit of oil in the belt housing. Has anyone experienced this? Belt looks fine. Only have 300 miles on this thing..

Does anyone have any suggestions for aftermarket shocks.  I have a T-Boss 550 and took it riding in some rough trails and the stock suspension was uncomfortably rough.
      Thanks
