Nedw to the board  live in the mountains of northwest Arkansas and have bought a 2004 Kawasaki Mule 3010 diesel KAF950B2. Really like it, haven't found all its problems as yet . Previous owner changed wiring  and I am slowly rewiring back to original.  I am about to remove and test glow plugs and in looking for replacement glow plugs I find the price too expensive.    MY QUESTION: does anyone know of a glow plug that will fit that is also under $20 a piece?  Please let me know.  you may contact me direct if you choose, [email protected]

These NGK glow plugs kept coming up in my search, NGK Glow Plug Y-706R  , might contact NGK with that part number and Kawasaki's part number and see if they will work. The prices were anywhere from $17 to $30 depending where you look.

Welcome to the forum!

I've got a 2005 3010 diesel. And I have to tell you, it seems to be a rare bird. While I can't answer your question, nor do I have much experience with working on diesels. Mine was purchased new, and has seen exactly zero problems.

However I can offer anything  from any page of my shop service manual. It's a factory shop service manual, and is extremely detailed. Although certain details, like part numbers are somewhat lacking.

You are welcome to any information that I have.

Also if you can supply what engine make your Mule has, i don't think Kawasaki made their own diesel for the mule it's either Yanmar or Daihatsu.

Sometimes going by engine maker makes parts easier to find.

      Hi everyone
Recently purchased a 2020 T-Boss 410 in what appears to be good condition
First time with this machine – I also have a diesel Kawasaki Mule which so far seems a better machine
It didn’t start and idle well particularly from cold when I got it and sudden take off ( now solved with new clutch parts ) was all or nothing !
I have replaced the idle valve, throttle position sensor, had the injector professionally checked ( ok) and also the pressure sensor this is a fuel injection engine, also plug and lead etc!
It still doesn’t run well and when starting I have to hold revs for a while as it wont idle but stall, thereafter its better and I have rebooted the ecu which has improved it
When I go to start it clicks as if there is a hydraulic lock and wont return after two or three attempts it then does turn over and start bit I need to give it a bit of throttle to start – is this normal ?
Is there adjustment for the air idle valve ?
The engine seems rough and with vibration compared to other engines I have been used to but some say this is normal?
I haven’t changed the Lambda sensor yet, anyone know how much difference this might make ( I have a new Bosch universal to fit )
Any advice very much appreciated, thanks

Can anyone advise if they have any knowledge of the jeep gladiator or wrangler with the 3.0 diesel? I don't believe they offer the diesel in new jeeps but I'm interested in a used one with the diesel. But wanted to hear how the engine performs.

I have a Coleman HS400UTV-5 got it manly for hunting and spending time with the grandkids
The one problem I am trying to avoid. My son borrowed it last summer and said it ran hot so he added water to it . I do not know how much he put in so I would like to drain most of it and add new coolant to protect it this winter. I can find no drain cock or any way of draining it besides loosening a hose.  Any suggestions ????

Hello everyone! I am new here and have no experience with UTVs but I am quickly getting some. I have a shifting problem where I can shift through all gears without the engine running but as soon as I start the engine I can not select a gear. Yes, foot is on the brake and yes the pin is being pulled to go into reverse if I was to try going into reverse. The shift lever does not move. I adjusted the linkage to get more accurate shifting with the engine off so I know those are now correct. I opened the shift lever housing to inspect the teeth on the gear and found this picture below. Why is this oil so milky looking? I assume with oil like this I'll need to replace the wet clutch as well but am not positive. Does anyone have any input into how to flush this system and get things shifting correctly? Thanks in advance for all the help!
