So I want to get into utv’s, but the only way I can do that is by buying a salvage one. My question is, will extreme heat mess up a frame, or will it be okay. Something like the one in the picture will be what I will look into.

I think you have more to worry about than the frame.

If you buy that Jalopy in that condition, by the time you fix  wiring, seats etc., if did indeed burn up, you'll probably need all new electrical components, and  who knows what on the engine .you may as well buy a used or brand new  side by side.  Unless you are Extremely bored, have a  crap ton of patience, and have a lot of  Money $$$$.

Most steel's and iron alloys melt around 2,000 or 2,500 Degrees F.

So, if I bought the frame, and stripped it to a bare frame with nothing, it would be okay. My plan is to do a swap of some type, so I won’t mess with any of the parts that are on the bare shell when I bought it.

Yes, the frame should be fine.anyone with basic fabrication skills could fix some issues if it had any defects.

You've got a huge  project ahead of you. Good luck.

Basically, you'll be building a new ride from individual parts.  It's the most expensive way of getting into the sport.  You'll end up with a $30,000 ride that has little more than slavage value when finished.  Uncontrolled heating (as in this fire) changes the molecular structure of the metal making it soft and weaker.  Parts of this frame are bent/warped due to the expansion of the metal during extreme uncontrolled heating.  Good luck if you attempt this project.

I have a 2018 cub cadet challenger 750 I bought brand new almost 2 years ago the first month I had it the exhaust broke and burnt the spark plug wire in two that was a recall so the dealership installed the new one it had a different design and it bolted up to the bottom two plugs below the spark plug the dealership said they had to Adjust the exhaust valves I get the machine back thanking everything is good now wrong not even a week after I get it back the timing chain tensioner comes apart inside the motor I take it back to the dealership They put one on I get the machine back thanking everything is good but then just like before not even a week goes by when I was riding the Machine automatically quits going come to find out the wet clutch was burned up the primary clutch head stripped off of the splines I get that fixed and then  it overheats I take it back they bleed the air out of the coolant they bring it back to me the same day that I get it back it overheats again I take it back they temporarily fix it again just enough to let the warranty run out and now the machine has been to multiple different mechanics I have had them try to bleed the air out they have stood it up on its end I have had the water pump changed I have had the fan hooked to a switch so I could leave it on all the time but still almost 2 years later not even 200 hours on the machine and I cannot ride it The dealership will not take it back as a lemon I have tried I am at my wits end I have no clue what to try next

We recently purchased the Axis x550. Fueled it with 93 fuel and drove one time around the farm and the 02 fault error appeared. Any ideas?

The conversion took about 350lbs. off the vehicle.  It never rode great, but now I feel every  crack in the road.  I have backed off spring compression nut to the point just under where they would move around if suspension was at full extension, but it is still very stiff.  I would like to put some softer coilover springs on it, but I have no idea what the spring rate is with the original springs so I would just be guessing on what to order.  Does anyone have the data for the original spring compression rate?  I am willing to give up a little ground clearance for a softer ride. Right now when sitting still the rear suspension is at or near full extension and the rear tires have several degrees of camber which will cause uneven wear if allowed to continue in this state.

I have done a LiPo4 battery upgrade on my E1.  I have reprogrammed the charge profile to #386.  With the onboard BMS the controller cuts off all charge from the IC1200 when the battery reaches 100% to prevent overcharge.  When this happens the charger begins flashing the yellow light and displays the error code 013 which is telling me the battery is no longer accepting a charge input which is as it should be.  I hear a relay switching in and out every few seconds as the charger continues to try to reach the shutoff charge profile voltage.  My question is will it cause any harm to the IC1200 to stay in this state for hours or maybe even days if I don't get out to unplug it?  I used to leave the E1 plugged in all the time with the old Discover batteries.
