Wildcat X EPS with RG PRO Suspension
Wildcat X EPS with RG PRO Suspension
Minneapolis, Minn. (Sept. 16, 2016) Arctic Cat continued its foot-on-the-gas approach to new ROV and ATV model introductions by releasing its second wave of new-for-2017 models, including the new Wildcat X and Wildcat 4X models featuring the all-new RG PRO rear suspension as well as the re-designed value-priced Alterra 300 ATV.

Three new Wildcat side-by-sides headline the latest 2017 model releases: the two-occupant Wildcat X EPS and Wildcat X Limited EPS, plus the four-occupant Wildcat 4X EPS. All three models feature an entirely new RG PRO rear suspension package that was designed in partnership with racing legend Robby Gordon and aimed at professional-level riders who demand the ultimate big bump off-road performance.

The innovative X models also feature new race-inspired ROPS cage; KING aluminum gas shocks; custom cast-aluminum KMC wheels; and a host of chassis improvements for pro-level performance. The results deliver the most capable off-road machines available, with custom features and pricing that exceed previous standards.

High-value and low-price are the hallmarks of the new Alterra 300 ATV, a redesigned machine that blends full-sized features, durable engine performance and rugged Alterra styling.

These four machines join the six new models introduced in June for yet another unprecedented rollout of new models in a single season. Arctic Cat now offers 30 class-leading machines for all categories of off-road work and play.

We’ve expanded our 2017 line of Arctic Cat dirt products to provide the most innovative technology, maximum performance and class-leading value,” said Greg Williamson, Arctic Cat Chief Marketing Officer, “And we’re not done yet! These models and subsequent machines will continue to deliver the ultimate off-road experience to every enthusiast.”

A complete 2017 Media Kit that includes information on each model; technology highlights; full specifications; and photography, can be downloaded via a FTP Link http://tiny.cc/ACDirtWAVE2

Just picked up a Hisun 500 that had shift issues (corroded fan gear) which I fixed. It also didn't seem to be running smoothly then all of a sudden it got worse. It seems to miss on both idle and when pushing the gas pedal to the floor and doesn't seem to be running at full power. I've been working with a local person who is walking me through some steps, but I'd like some input from this group as well. What I've done:
      - drained the fuel tank and replaced it with 93 octane fuel and added heet to help with any water problems.
      - replaced the fuel injector.
      - disconnected the battery (several times) to allow the module to reset.
      - set the valve clearance, both intake and exhaust, within specs ... intake was tight but exhaust seemed fine.
      - replaced the battery.
      - replaced the O2 sensor.
Nothing has helped. Not sure what the next steps are, but would appreciate any expertise that can be offered here.

I want to ditch my Kubota RTV-XG850 and its moronic twitchy throttle design flaw, get rid of the problematic engine and the 40 mph purposely throttled speed.
So far, I'm looking at the Honda Pioneer 1000 and the Polaris Ranger 1000, both of which have 1000-1500 lb payload bed capacity.
What other makes and models should I be looking at?

      Thanks for the help!

      Hi
I have a 2022 hisun sector eps 550. 30amp fuse is blown for eps. Checked the motor and it’s fine. Opened up the controller and found a bad diode. Dealer wanted 500$ for the controller. Just posting this in case it helps someone. I couldn’t read numbers from the old one so just took a guess and replaced it with a 100v 3amp diode.

As with any forum you join, there is a requirement for an obligatory introduction... and that seems fair. How else do you get that first post in there without jumping in with some stupid question right out of nowhere?

Hi. I'm Space Ghost. Well, not really, but that was my call sign on my last deployment before an IED made me non-deployable, and I an now retired/disabled, and living on my wonderful VA disability. I did almost 28 years in total between the Army, Army Reserve, and National Guard. 1 deployment with the Reserve (Desert Storm) and 3 with the Guard (1 pre, and 2 post 9/11)

Married (going on 30 years) one of each. (both out of the nest)

Just picked up my first side by side a couple days ago. A 2020 Can-Am Defender HD10 DPS 6x6.

It's in pretty good shape, but as you can probably tell, it's sitting a bit high. Former owner put a lifting collar on the shocks.

The good = almost 17" of ground clearance. (30" tires)
The bad = incredibly steep driveline angles, and a pretty stiff ride.

      They will be coming off.

Other than that... clean as a pin and appears very well maintained.

Looking forward to seeing what this forum can bring, and hoping I can bring something in return.
