Hi all friends, I'm new here, I'm from Guatemala, I have a 2006 Joyner Commando C2 I purchased a days ago, it came with no 4x4 actuator and I already search on ebay and Amazon and also on alibaba and found nothing, my problem is that my joyner is stuck in 4x4 and also don let me put it in reverse, it just make crank sound and not moving in reverse but in the place where goes the 4x4 actuator there is a hole with a little plate with an another tiny hole if I push in that plate it conect in reverse gear, can someone help me on how to make it work manually and also if you can explain me why it doens't move in reverse until I push that plate, hope you can help me, thank's

The part number for your C2 is S650.06.09.00.00.  The part number for Troopers and Renegades is S650.06.10.00.00.  I don't know if they are different enough or similar enough to see if they are interchangeable.  Maybe someone near you can see if theirs will work on your machine or find a machine that's been trashed.

Hi Dan B, thank's for your help, im from Guatemala and where I live there's not other Joyner around here in miles, so what I will be very grateful is if can you tell me if the 4x4 actuator works together with the reverse gear, because like I said my joyner not have the actuator and if I want to go in reverse I need to push the little plate that the actuator push, hope I'm explained the way yo can figure what's going on with my joyner, thank's for your help again

It doesn't make sense to me that the 4x4 actuator is needed for reverse gear.  That should be a different problem.  Reverse only acts on the rear axle.  However, if you are able to put it into 4wd, both front and rear axles will drive in reverse.  Can you jack up your C2 (all four wheels off the ground).  Then, when you push on that plate, does all four wheels go into revese or just the front axle?  If just the front axle, you may have internal transmission issues.  Can you move the shift lever into reverse?   Or is it the tranmsion itself not going into reverse.  Check your shift linkage cables - they may be out of adjustment.  Do the easy stuff first before tearing into the transmission.   You might be able to get a cable actuated 4wd system.  Just about any cable operated 4wd actuator can be made to fit with some minor engineering work.  Joyner dropped the electric 4wd because they were problematic especially if they got very wet.  Check with Arctic Cat if you have a dealer near you.  Their's might fit.

Thank's again Dan B, I can freely put 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th gear, with the shift or gear selector, but when I put it on reverse the front axle move and make a crank noise, like if the front gears are slipering and are not engaging correctly until I push like the 4x4 actuator will do, so I gona make the adjustment on the shift cables and see if it work propeely, I really appreciate your help

Hi again Dan B, so I ended taking off the rear Main reducer , because is totally destroyed inside, that's why it only work in 4x4 because only work when the front reducer is engaged is there any way to fix the rear reducer inside gears? Here where I live there's no place to buy things like that, or where can I buy a used one to import to Guatemala?

Amazon has a rear differential/reducer for the Commando 650 for $790USD.  Alibaba has a rear differential/reducer for the Joyner 800cc rides that includes the Commando if yours has the 800cc engine ($500USD).  As for importing them into Guatemala, I can't answer that.

Just received delivery of a 2024 AMP Pro.  Thought I'd start a thread with my impressions as I use it and learn more.  There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of real-world usage information out there on this model.  Hope this will help others as they research.
      Intended Use Cases
Fire mitigation / slash removal from a 5 acre forested and well-gamble-oaked property.  The previous owners thought as much about fire mitigation as I do about fashion: not much. Snow removal Stump pulling General hauling (rock, lumber, etc.) Weimaraner energy depletion.  Wasn't an original use case, but a nice added bonus.  Experiences So Far
Wasn't impressed that two of the bumpers on the underside of the bed where it sits upon the frame were missing.  The metal on metal contact has damaged the powder coating and the frame.  I expect a little better QC.
I've only put a few hours on it, so not a ton to report on usage.  It isn't quiet; it's silent.  I can't even detect an electric note from the motor. I removed (and subsequently replaced) the motor cover noticed that the motor is German and made by Schambuller.  The motor controller is Italian and made by Dana TM4.  Given the operating specs of both I found on the web, I suspect both are higher quality than the previous Navitas (which is supposed to be decent).  The motor is rated at 25 hp and 71.5 lb-ft of torque.  It feels very powerful.  All the torque is delivered instantly, if desired.
The bed is huge and has an electric dump as standard.  Great feature but would like it to go up a bit more.  Probably not feasible from an engineering perspective, but I want and I need ;).
Power steering is nice, but vague.  Probably common to many UTVs, but I am accustomed to more direct results from input.  Plan early and plan often.
In our first full day of usage, we hauled about 1/2 as much slash as the entire rest of the year when I was doing it by hand cart.  I may get fatter, but I'll also get more done.  After a few days of usage, the battery meter has gone down by 1/10th.
      Until next time...

I want to ditch my Kubota RTV-XG850 and its moronic twitchy throttle design flaw, get rid of the problematic engine and the 40 mph purposely throttled speed.
So far, I'm looking at the Honda Pioneer 1000 and the Polaris Ranger 1000, both of which have 1000-1500 lb payload bed capacity.
What other makes and models should I be looking at?

      Thanks for the help!

I have an Axis 500 4x4 UTV that I was given.  It looks like an almost new machine with 39 hrs on it however it was apparently under water from the hurricane . I have no spark at the plug. I have replaced the plug, the plug wire, & the stator so far. Can anyone advise me of what i need to check and or replace to get this thing running? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
                                    Thank You,
                                  D Maynard
