Bought a used Textron Stampede 4 with 30 hours.  Engine quit and will not start.  CodesP0031, P0261, and P0264 showing. Closest dealer is 100 miles away.  Sure would appreciate any help with what the fix may be.  Thank you, Paul

What a wonderful service manual--I need to send it to Hisun and Coleman so they can see what one is supposed to look like!

In reviewing the wiring diagrams I see that he injectors, Lambda (O₂) sensor and ignition coils share a common power feed from terminal C6 on the main harness (this is good news as it links directly to the DTCs):

On the wiring harness it looks like this--with SP1 (SP=splice???) being a common connection point:

They also provide this splendid illustration of where all this stuff is located (though the O₂ sensor does not seem to be shown)

Before hauling it 100 miles check that main harness connector, and the  connectors at he injectors and coils  to make certain they're not corroded or otherwise fouled. Check all ground connections as well--check the O₂ senor connector as well as it is quite possibly located is a place that can collect all sorts of crap.

Also, the usual suspects, battery connections, voltage

While cranking [at the terminals, not he battery posts], , etc. It may be coincidence that all three reported "low voltage" at the same time but I'd look for a common wiring problem.

Cliff, thank you so very much for taking the time to show me some possibilities that could be the cause my issue.  I will do my best to sort it out with your most welcome help. I have checked the main grounds and connections to frame grounding and they are all tight and seem to be in good condition.  I will certainly take your advice and do my best to check things out.  Thanks again Cliff, I really appreciate your help! You are quite welcome--let out a yell if you have any questions, or just want to bounce around some ideas. I don't believe the O₂ sensor issue would prevent the engine from starting.  Try unplugging it, if it's heater is drawing too much power and dragging that circuit down disconnecting it "might" allow the engine to start--worth a try, if it starts you know which part to buy...

Thank you for another most welcome suggestion Cliff.  I hope to check all of your suggestions this weekend.  I have looked around the engine compartment and it is pretty tight with all wiring covered, so I hope I can find the connections........ I will post what I find or cannot find.  Thanks again for taking time to help me out...

Hello Cliff, I wanted to say thanks again for taking time to help me out.  I had to take it to a local ATV shop and hope for the best.  They figured it out!  It was a bad cam sensor and it caused several other codes to be displayed as well.  The common error was the cam sensor.  I ordered one through Country Cat (a great source for many makes and they are helpful as well) and had the part it 2 days and all is good for now....  Thanks again Cliff .   Paul

Hi all, I own two Axis UTV's. Last year I purchased a 2022 Axis 500. I had a mechanical issue with the shifting forks after only 50 miles. I contacted Axis/Hisun warranty dept. That were very helpful and willing to send out a representative to see if it was a warranty issue that fell under coverage.  Since I live in an area that does not have authorized repair facility within 300 miles. A really nice guy drove all the way from West Virginia which was 4 hours away. He determined that the console would not stay seated in position and while driving it, the console would jump forward and knock it into the wrong gear causing the shift forks to become bent. It was then picked up a few weeks latter to be repaired in Richmond, Virginia. It should arrive home soon.
Now to my question. After the 2022 Axis 500 was taken for repairs, I bought the 2024 550 Axis. I bought the first one to take my son who is disabled from an extremely rare disorder that requires daily care to get out of the house. There are two things that give him joy, music and going for rides.  That is why I purchased the first one, However because it had bucket seats and the engine was between the two and was too loud even though I deaden the sound and put a quiet muffler on it.
I then decided to purchase the Axis 550 for the great updated features and the bench seat, I will be buying the complete enclosure ad on's offered by Hisun. Since it does not come with a heater (Axis 750 does) I was wondering if anyone knows what heater is part of the 750 edition. There was a photo that showed a Firestorm brand, however I can not find what variation it is. If anyone knows what a Inferno heater would be correct for the Axis 550. I would like to install it this Winter to take Justin riding on the farm. Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Brent

Was using the machine all day to haul wood...no issues until the end...
When I try to start it, the dash lights come on but starter does not...seems like no power to the starter.
It is in park, but when I put the brake on to start, it registers N.
      Won't start in neutral either...
Tried rocking it, did not help...

We have a 2018 Cub Cadet Challenger 400 and I found this Internally Threaded Bolt with a 10mm head size laying in the floor of the shop bay here on our ranch where we park the Cub Cadet.
Trying to figure out where it belongs...

Thanks for the add.  I'm looking for ideas for a hard cab enclosure. I sure don't like the soft sides and zippered window.
