Hello,

I am a new member who winters in South West Florida (Fort Myers) and spends the summer in the mountains of Western North Caroina (Robbinsvile).

I have a Kawasaki Mule 550 that I use as a do all vehicle out at a small ranch we have here in Florida. When I bought it years ago, I figured that it would just be a toy but boy was I wrong. It has over 600 hours on it and still going strong.

I also have a Land Pride Treker UTV model 4220ST which I use in the mountains of NC. It's great for chores and riding the logging roads.

My latest addition is a mini jeep (XY XUV-4)that I imported from China. It's going to NC in the spring and I am going to attempt to

register it as a Low Speed Vehicle so the I can drive it to town. It's 4x4 with locking, 500cc CVT H,L,N,R, winch, lights, windshield, wiper, etc and even a fm/mp3.

Looking for UTV rallies in FL or NC.

It has a CVT which is like a gearless automatic. The engine and transmission is a Cfmoto 188 500cc.

See http://www.cfmoto-us.com/html/Product_item...lassname=Engine

The CVT uses a belt and the rest of the power transmission is via shaft and gears.

More info on the mini jeep is at

Have you had good luck with CFMOTO engines. I'm looking into a BMX 500cc UTV either a 2-seater or 4 seater just wondering on this.

I found the UTV on http://www.bestpriceatv.com

Was at Lowe's over the weekend. The wife and I seen they have a new Axis 550. That thing is sharp. Has a complete door. Speakers in door. Bigger engine. Bench seats. New styling all the way around. Looks to be more air tight than my 2022 model. I really like the looks but $10k is out of my price range for now. Unless I could sell mine. And the resale on the Axis 500 is nothing.
Went to the local wally world today. See a 4 person Polaris General 1000 on the back of a trailer. That Polaris looked exactly like a stretched version of the Axis 550. Even down to the vents in the windshield.
Just wondering if anyone can confirm or deny the Axis 550 is a copy of the Polaris?

I have a 2019 coleman 550 outfitter and need help finding out where a wire goes. I put a new starter in and to do that you need to tear half of the inside out! When putting everything back together there’s an extra wire that I can’t find out where it goes. I took pictures of everything before I took it apart and this wire is the only one that blends in with everything around it. Also the new starter doesn’t engage the bendix im assuming it has something to do with the wire?

I've never seen the temperature go high on this thing. the fan runs almost all the time even though the sensor is  reading at the very bottom of it's range. ive taken the cylinder head off.  (nothing definitive but maybe a little fuel on top of piston with oil in it.i don't think this has anything to do with my problem )head gasket is 3 layers deep and I noticed some grit that might have been in between layers but nothing to say the head gasket wasn't intact.  black carbon build up on piston. I've looked all over the head for cracks from over heating. I'm about to look again for hairline cracks that are extremely difficult to see. my buddy helping me said to order rings in case they are letting oil pass thru he also said get a new head gasket.. I'm looking at water in oil first and I'm not ordering rings. I haven't checked the oil cooler to see if it's defective yet.  I'm just hoping someone had a similar problem. my only problem so far has been having to change the spark plug every 100 miles with 93 octane run thru it.

I got an old 2003 Arctic Cat 375 Auto, and just bought a 2008 AC 650 side by side. Got a new starter, solenoid, and battery for the 650. Gonna change the crankcase oil and filter while I'm at it.
Anything I oughta watch out for from them that's done the starter/solenoid on this model?
Don't have a manual yet for the 650. Any recommendations for oil weight/grade?
      Thanks.
