When I’m reverse and under power like if backing up a steep hill, it hesitates like fuel is intermittently spitting gas, goes in and out and has no power. It must be a fuel problem?  What would cause it to pulse fuel in reverse only ?

i wonder if there is a reverse safety switch that might be malfunctioning... have a look through our downloads library to see if there is a manual for your machine

I believe that is actually a  Hisun HS700UTV Crew (same as the Coleman UT700). They have a 10 MPH limiter for reverse gear--If the vehicle (or its rear wheels) are going over 10 MPH it will cut fuel and sputter. The same black box is used for the seat belt "safety" feature...
