Does anyone know a simple way to silence the beep? I didn’t find it in the drive switch connector cluster and it looks like removing the dash board is difficult. Where is the speaker? Thanks

I tried that today, Travis. Thought I was so clever…got into the harness behind the Forward/Reverse switch. Five wires. Removed each, one at a time. I can prevent engaging reverse or forward, but cannot  silence the speaker. It looks like I need to remove the rollbar in order to get the dash board off. Don’t want that right now and so asked if anyone knew where the gd speaker is so I could take a short cut. Thanks to you I will go buy a pair of wire cutters. Thanks. Hisun is worse than horrible in providing schematics.

It will be a smallish black cube, maybe 2"x1".  Wrap it in electrical tape and you're set.  Not sure where yours is located, but not hard to find when it's going off.  Start it up, put it in reverse and engage the parking brake.  Should be able to locate in a few seconds.

Thanks TapBoss. Si ilar to the cube on the back of the rocker switch? Maybe it is hidden in the bundle behind the dash panel.

On the 2022 model undo the 4 screws on the switch panel (#2 Phillips) and in the upper right is the offending hearing loss beeper. Try not to move the wiring harness and disconnect the white coupler  and  replace panel.  Now you are as stealthy as a B-2 bomber.

We have a 2018 Cub Cadet Challenger 400 and I found this Internally Threaded Bolt with a 10mm head size laying in the floor of the shop bay here on our ranch where we park the Cub Cadet.
Trying to figure out where it belongs...

2002 ranger 500 4x4 stopped running and wouldn't restart. Service manual wiring diagram helped identify the hub safety switch as the culprit. Using jumper wires to bypass  switch allowed the engine to start and run normally. Inspection of switch showed melted epoxy and a strong smell of burnt electrical. Unable to find replacement part either used or new. Is there a work around other than jumper wiring?

Good afternoon. When the timing chain came off its lower gear (previous owner had over-tightened the tensioner), I ordered new parts.. chain, oil-pump chain, tensioner etc.. But now that it's time to put it back together, the main crankshaft makes a clang noise and stops when you turn it by hand. I want to solve this before assembling everything. The camshaft cover is off so that the valves aren't being activated. Should the transmission be in neutral to turn the crankshaft? The engine was running fine until the chain came off the lower gear. Then it would spin when the starter motor engaged so I assumed the crankshaft was spinning. Any advice is appreciated.
