Odes won't cut off

does the engine use a magneto/flywheel ignition system like  a mower engine.... or does it cut off fuel like a diesel?

MY 2015 Odes 800 Dominator X also won't turn off. Display cluster stays on. I have to disconnect battery cable to quit engine while cranked. After reinstalling battery cable, it will start and run fine . Have to repeat this every time. I think I may have a relay of some kind stuck? ???????
