Not enough info to even begin to tell you where to look.  What is the engine RPM when you're traveling 30 mph?  Is the engine running smoothly or acting like it's cutting out, missing or struggling?

I'm still guessing here.  Since the crankshaft position sensor didn't change anything, that could be the issue.  A bad sensor though would cause rough idle, slow engine resonse when you press on the accelerator, difficulty starting.    Engine starving from lack of fuel caused by a clogged fuel filter; low fuel pressure (should be about 50 psi) or bad throttle body.  A compression test might be of value.  Low compresson on all cylinders could indicate a jumped valve timing belt.  Not likely but it will eliminate one doubt.  3000 RPMs at 30 mph is normal; higher RPMs is not.

I'm leaning toward lack of fuel.  The engine is needing more fuel that what is being delivered.  Could be fuel pump, filter or the ECM isn't recognizing the demand for fuel from the throttle body.  Other than that, I'm sorry that my skill level is short of what I've suggested.  Good luck on fixing your machine.

I have a 2008 trooper t2 1100. I changed out the starter and now it will not do the 3 second warm up and start. Are their any shops in California that will still diagnose a Joyner Trooper, or does anybody know which signals can cause the warm up sequence to not go?

Donald 1968: Did you finally get your issue fixed on your trooper? If so what was the final fix?

California Nut Case: Did you ever find anyone to work on your Joyner, and if not what part of Cali are you in? I am a retired auto mechanic and live 30 minutes from Carson City Nv.  I bought my trooper because it is an automotive powertrain and I know I can fix it, modifying to use more common parts (ie Honda) when I need to. If you are fairly close I may be able to help.

This is rocmoc/Michael one of the first on this forum when the Joyner was one of the most active topics.  First an update of others.  The earlier members will also remember Lenny and Jeff.  With myself we organized the first Jamborees in 2009-2012.  Sadly if you have not heard we lost both Lenny and Jeff in 2018.    A great loss to the community.  Myself:  Still around but rolled over to Jeep and Arctic Cat Wildcat.  The Wildcat  design still remains me of my old 2008 Trooper.  Doing well as the Last Man Standing but cleaning out the garage.  Found some New and used Trooper parts I will list in the parts section.  Wanted to give you all a chance before I list on Ebay.  As many of you knew Lenny listed a lot of stuff on Ebay.  Will I partnered a lot of the stuff with him and I still have stuff.  Take care and I will check in for message should you want to ride.  Still make it to Utah every other year and am still in Southern AZ.

I have a Joyner Trooper 1100 4 place that has been sitting for a number of years. I have everything taken care of but i can't get the fuel through the injectors. Fuel pump puts full pressure on them but they don't turn on or spray fuel. Any ideas?

I have a 2018 cub cadet challenger 750 I bought brand new almost 2 years ago the first month I had it the exhaust broke and burnt the spark plug wire in two that was a recall so the dealership installed the new one it had a different design and it bolted up to the bottom two plugs below the spark plug the dealership said they had to Adjust the exhaust valves I get the machine back thanking everything is good now wrong not even a week after I get it back the timing chain tensioner comes apart inside the motor I take it back to the dealership They put one on I get the machine back thanking everything is good but then just like before not even a week goes by when I was riding the Machine automatically quits going come to find out the wet clutch was burned up the primary clutch head stripped off of the splines I get that fixed and then  it overheats I take it back they bleed the air out of the coolant they bring it back to me the same day that I get it back it overheats again I take it back they temporarily fix it again just enough to let the warranty run out and now the machine has been to multiple different mechanics I have had them try to bleed the air out they have stood it up on its end I have had the water pump changed I have had the fan hooked to a switch so I could leave it on all the time but still almost 2 years later not even 200 hours on the machine and I cannot ride it The dealership will not take it back as a lemon I have tried I am at my wits end I have no clue what to try next
