Hey guys....

Have a buck 400 that the shifter lever has all but frozen up on. Is it a linkage or cable design? It got more stiff last year during deer season and after sitting for months in my barn will not really move in either direction. I do not want to force it to free it up and risk breaking something. I guess I have to pull the front clip off to see what the issue is but thought I might ask beforehand what type of operating system was ased on yhis model. Linkage or cable....Thanks....

Believe they are a cable system like mine is.  A trick to get it to change gears is to go whichever direction it is currently in just a bit and try shifting again.  I had to do this a few times during break in.  Would also change differential fluid.  If that doesn't work, call customer service (877) 881-6376.  They offered to walk me thru adjusting the shift cable if I needed assistance.

Is there a code reader available for the Coleman UTV 400?  I tried using the HUD ECU Hacker software and cables/adapters but no luck OBD to delphi 6 pin and KKL VAG as well as ELM327.  Will not connect.  I was able to get it to connect randomly a couple of times, but haven't been able to since.  I was able to clear and read the codes briefly.  I'm aware of the Tiny Scan 301 but it doesn't seem to be readily available.  There's a few out there but they are expensive.

I had to remove the relay for the dump bed due to it popping the fuse for main key power. I have tried to find a short but nothing seems to out of normal. I also disconnected the dump motor and switch and still pops the fuse. Also, when the machine is warmed up i get about 5 to 10 of work out of before it stalls. Once I can get it to start again I have to use the choke to keep it running.

I have the factory service manual available for the Buck 400. Just send me a message with your email and I'll get it to you. Although there is no charge for this, it would be great if  you would visit my website where you could donate any amount to help do things like this with others who need it. Again, there is no charge for this manual, and no obligation to donate. But if you did, I would thank you for sure. Have fun on the trails. www.warriorsoffroad.com

I have a Kubota RTV -X900 that I recently got from someone that is in good condition.  I'm trying to determine what year it is all to no avail.  I have the 16 digit product identification number and have gone on line to multiple sites with no luck.  The number is A5KB2FDBCFG024444 .  I'd appreciate it if someone could give me an idea where to look this number up and get the year on this unit.  Thanks in advance.
