I have a 2018 Stampede 4x and I would like to put on a lift kit and I can't find one anywhere. I contacted one company and they said they don't make the lift kit any more because there was no demand for it. Does anyone have one in inventroy that I can buy?

I used my Side-by-side for hunting and it was so loaded down with gear I didn't have much ground clearence and the cross bar that holds up the skid plates got ripped off. I saw they have or had a 2" lift kit plus I could buy 28" tires instead of the 26" tires I curertnly have to give me 3" more inches of clearence. Is there any other way to get ground clearance please let me know.

Thanks

Hey there,

I have a 2020 Tracker SVX1000 and am also interested in a lift so I can run larger wheels/tires with a higher offset.  My understanding is the 2108-2020 Stampede's, Havoc's (Not Havoc X) & SVX1000's are all mechanically identical....

Sidebysidestuff carried a 2" lift for $1200 at one point but they are out of stock (Link below) ... Haven't seen any other options surface yet...  :(

https://www.sidebysidestuff.com/high-lifter-2-inch-lift-kit-w-control-arms-textron-stampede.html

I am wondering if stock Havoc X suspension parts might be close enough for a creative retrofit (Might get expensive quick if you have to lengthen shafts...).  Maybe you could find someone with old parts to play with who upgraded their Havoc X from stock...   They make some nice suspension upgrades for the Havoc X for sure...

Side note -  I also use mine for hunting & am installing a new muffler with additional resonator next weekend to try & quiet it down. I currently have to yell to my passengers IF they can hear me...  My local wildlife seem to lack appreciation for all the combined racket.. :)

Thanks, I too called sidebysidestuff and got the name of the company that made a lift kit but they don't any more because of no demand. Thanks for the other info. It sounds like it is worth looking into.

If I can't find a lift kit can I put the front Havoc arms on my stampede? Are they compatable and will that raise the front ground clearance up 1.5"?  Also can I put shocks that are 2"00 longer  on my stampede without worrying about the drive shafts? What are better shocks to put on that will increase the ground cleazrance and improve the smooth ride?

Thanks

Dan

Hi I'm about to order parts to do a bunch of work on my Massimo. Does anyone know if there's a difference in the top end kit {piston, Cylinder, Rings, Gaskets, Piston Pin} if it has a carb or EFI? I'm EFI and I think some came with a carb so I thought i'd ask before making a mistake...
      Thanks Jerr

Recently, my unit Axis 500 (2020) will only go into reverse and neutral. I am not able to get high or low. The engine itself sounds fine and I do not have other issues on this unit. I change the engine oil but have not yet changed the gear oil.
Before this happened I occasionally encountered issue where going from reverse to high gear, it would grind some and i had to reposition to shift into high gear. I also for last couple weeks heard a squeaking sound. I couldn't tell what it was. Was looking for a grease point I missed.
The unit has around 70 hours and is kept in the garage.
Anyone else encounter this type of scenario? Any suggestions on troubleshooting would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the add.  I'm looking for ideas for a hard cab enclosure. I sure don't like the soft sides and zippered window.

      Thanks for accepting me!
Haven't got a side by side yet, but have been shopping.
Any advice welcome & I am on a limited budget, so haven't decided yet on new or used.

As I tried to do a conversion with the Yamaha 660 motor, I realized the 660 was never fuel injected so it would not work for the fuel injected hisun motor swap. But the good thing is the hisun 750 motor is a clone of the 660 Yamaha but with the components for the fuel injection (cam/crank position sensor). So that left me with a new rebuilt Yamaha 660 and still a broke 750 hisun motor. I took apart 750 think the timing chain had broke from all that I've heard about these motors. The chain was not broke, but just off cam and crank gears! The chain tensioner was at fault!  I've ordered Yamaha 660 replacement parts, chain, two exhaust valves (which got bent when chain came off while motor was spinning) and seals. The piston has 2 little nicks where it had hit valves but no damage otherwise. The head is being redone at the machine shop and I'll be putting it back together in the next couple of weeks. Also I finally tracked down a Service Manual with all the info on the 550/750 Challenger.
