Ok so it’s brand new, first time taking it out it struggled going past 35ish on a slight incline and seems the “top speed” is only 45mph? Has anyone gotten theirs to go any faster? If so how? Is there a speed limiter/governor on these? I know, if I want speed buy something else, BUT I just want to be able to go 50mph because where we hunt we have to ride in and can’t unload anywhere that’s safe besides in town. Any help is appreciated!!

We have not received our machine yet but we were told by the dealer he was aware that top speeds reported to him have been at the 45mph for the 750 and about 35 or less for the 500 sector models .

I'm amused by the fact that my "little" 2016 Sector 250 tops out at about 43mph with my 250 lb butt driving it and is quicker than my brother-in-law's new Axis 550 (with 200 lbs driver); which tops out at about 37mph.  I easily win the "run and get the mail" and "take out the garbage" races; but the 550 4x4 is a beast in the woods and off trail (which is why it gets to go to deer camp, and the 250 stays at home).

My Sector 250 isn't stock, btw.  I replaced the ECU with an older, higher revving ECU that HiSun USA pulled out of all the "too fast" first year 2015 models and changed the rear sprocket (2 teeth smaller...  42 to 40 I think, if I remember correctly).

running a new HISUN wide open on its first time out is risky.. These engines are not designed for abuse.. They barely hold up under normal conditions.. My MSU 500  with 1000 miles on it, which is HISUN too, tops out at 40-42mph on flat ground .. I would think the 750 should do better than 45 .. Its supposed to be 10 more HP. The only governor  on mine is in reverse

Get through the breakin, change fluids and try again.  Advertised top speed likely only under ideal conditions. 2wd, level, pavement, straight line. Runs better with time and good fluids.

Hello, All!  I've decided to replace the traction batteries in my 2018 Sector E1 with a 48V Lithium set. They may be expensive, but I figure the Discovery Dry Cell are, too. I am not looking for the max driving range, as I have never received near the brochured range to begin with, but a good mix of charge/ get work done/ charge is what I am expecting.
I have settled on the 48V EAGL kit from bigbattery dot com. Each battery pack provides 30Ah. The kit ships with a charger, as well. The packs would be physically connected in parallel (using a busbar) to one another, maintaining the 48V voltage, but together would be able to provide the amp draw the buggy pulls when going up hill or towing a rake (rated 320 max continuous Amps). This is in comparison to the serial connection the eight 6V lead batteries. Each of the EAGL batteries looks to have its own BMS; am I correct in thinking I will have to use their included charger rather than (simply) changing the onboard charger to lithium mode? The chemistry of the pack is LiFe PO4, for what it's worth.  I haven't torn anything apart yet (to diagram), so  I am not sure how the dash will interpret the AMP draw, but the kit I am looking at includes a dash mounted charge indicator.
If anyone has completed a similar conversion, do you have any tips? Specifically, how did you remove the original batteries, and how did you secure the new ones? I am guessing that almost any change from the stock batteries would involve at least some modifications. Any tips would be appreciated, especially things I may have failed to consider. Thanks!

I would really like to know what you guys think about this. I'll try not to ramble and make it as clear as I can.

I took this new job with companyX as a fiber splicer a year ago. I have a 45' bucket truck and 10or12 x 8 ft enclosed splice trailer I have to take home. Within the last 6 months all the management in the splice dept left. Now the power/construction management and higher ups are filling in. Just recently we were told travel to our 1st job is not payable even though we are in a company vehicle.
We are union so I asked the union business manager about this. His reply was be grateful you were paid travel as long as you were and that you don't have to drive your POV to the job.

Last week I had 50hr total. The job area is 4-4.5 hrs away. My time was reduced to 44.5 hrs since we were told this travel thing on Tuesday of that week. I wasn't hired for this area. I was hired for area a lot closer to home.

Pay is good. Work is not hard. Insurance is through the union and so far pretty good.
But I hate the thought of having to work extra just to make a 40hr paycheck. Anyone who has to drive as part of their job knows windshield time is not easy.

Anyway what do you guys think. Should I look for a different job or just suck it up because of the decent pay and health insurance.

Hi I'm about to order parts to do a bunch of work on my Massimo. Does anyone know if there's a difference in the top end kit {piston, Cylinder, Rings, Gaskets, Piston Pin} if it has a carb or EFI? I'm EFI and I think some came with a carb so I thought i'd ask before making a mistake...
      Thanks Jerr

Recently, my unit Axis 500 (2020) will only go into reverse and neutral. I am not able to get high or low. The engine itself sounds fine and I do not have other issues on this unit. I change the engine oil but have not yet changed the gear oil.
Before this happened I occasionally encountered issue where going from reverse to high gear, it would grind some and i had to reposition to shift into high gear. I also for last couple weeks heard a squeaking sound. I couldn't tell what it was. Was looking for a grease point I missed.
The unit has around 70 hours and is kept in the garage.
Anyone else encounter this type of scenario? Any suggestions on troubleshooting would be appreciated. Thanks.

We have a 2018 Cub Cadet Challenger 400 and I found this Internally Threaded Bolt with a 10mm head size laying in the floor of the shop bay here on our ranch where we park the Cub Cadet.
Trying to figure out where it belongs...
