I have a 2015 kymco 450I side by side with only 800 miles. I use it to plow snow and pull a manure spreader. Yes in low.  Last night it started making a loud chatter in the engine area and shut off. Couldn't change the gear selector unless it was while turning the ignition. Pulled the belt/clutch cover off and everything was in ok shape. Took the whole assembly off and it still chatters. Looks like the splined rod towards the rear of the engine is starting and stopping in its own and that's where that noise is coming from.  Is that part of the clutch and do I need to pull that too???  Don't know how deep to dig. And where to get these parts.

Hi guys. Update on the Kymco issue. After getting zero help from the dealer i was able to figure out through pictures that this machine crossed with a 2015 Artic cat 450 snow mobile. Ebay had the parts. Fit perfect.  Clutch was worn down pretty good. Probably from pulling heavy stuff. Hope this helps anyone with this problem.

Hello friend, are the parts that the Artic Cat shares with the Kymco only for the engine or also other components? Thanks, also here trying to learn about the Kymco UXV450i and the dealer doesn't give any solution.

I've had a Hisun Vector E1 for just a bit longer than is required for me to do some maintenance. While it's well-overdue, it only drives 1.5km a few times each week on a fairly decent gravel road (to the letterbox), and it has worked really well right from the get-go.
Looking at the manual it states that I need to use SAE80 API GL-4 Hypoid Gear Oil for the Main gear Case, and SAE80 API GL-5 Hypoid Gear Oil for the Front gear Case - unfortunately i can't find either of those online here in Australia. Plenty of options that look close, but, as someone who has never driven any vehicle before, I want to use the right thing and it's a tad confusing.
My question: Since there are no oils that are bang on SAE80 (they all seem to cover a range) would Liqui Moly Hypoid GL4 Gear Oil 80W-90  & Motorex Hypoid GL-5 Gear Oil 80W90 - be ok to use? (Or any other suggestions of what I might be able to purchase online in Australia) And would I have to drain out any existing oil from both gear cases?
This is a whole new world for me and  being able to find exactly what is specified in the manual hasn't made this easy!

I have a 2017 Intimidator XD4 800cc 4x4.  It will run great and then it's like it goes into safe mode and only runs on 1 cylinder.  It's not fouling out the plug when it happens.  Some times when I stop and restart it, it works fine.  First I thought it was a spark issue, then a fuel issue, but I feel like it's a short in the wiring some place.

I swapped out the Subaru motor for a Predator 670cc. If I remove the heat shield around the muffler, The stock muffler sits in there just fine with 1" to spare.
Only problem is the exhaust exit is toward the back seat instead of out the back.
Do you all think that the stock exhaust would be okay (just as effective) if cut a hole and welded a pipe on the reversed (opposite) end? Of course, plug the old exit end. Other option I thought of was to roll a tube 180° with a 7" center line radius and finish extention of 12" or so.
      Any thoughts?

Can anyone tell me how to get the engine codes to display on a 2012 Bennche Bighorn 700X?  I played with the gauges once and lucked up on this but can't remember what I did.  Will the codes automatically display if there is a code or do you have to cycle through the display?
