trooper rear differential

I didn't want to buy a diff. from china and now that I have I regret it. The quality of their products has not changed since I bought my trooper in 2009. I just received a "new" rear diff. from Klung motor sports. When I took it out of the box It looked great but that was as far as it went. I tried to turn the pinion it would not budge, I had to use a pair of channel lock pliers to get it to move at all. I took it apart to find out why and it had almost a full shot glass of metal shavings inside. The machine work done on the ring and pinion was so rough I am surprised that the tooling used to cut the teeth even worked at all. They didn't even try grinding it to smooth it out. The only good thing they have done is they changed the carrier bearings to needle type from the ball bearings they originally had. It would have been even better if they had changed the pinion bearings too but they didn't. The spider gears are still very loose but I can't take the carrier apart too tighten it up because they have spot welded the carrier together.  I would not recommend anyone to buy a differential for their trooper our any of the joyner models from china, unless they don't care about the quality of chinese products. I emailed bob at klung and he basically said to bad you bought it it's yours. It's too bad they aren't in this country so I might be able to get something done about it.

Good afternoon. When the timing chain came off its lower gear (previous owner had over-tightened the tensioner), I ordered new parts.. chain, oil-pump chain, tensioner etc.. But now that it's time to put it back together, the main crankshaft makes a clang noise and stops when you turn it by hand. I want to solve this before assembling everything. The camshaft cover is off so that the valves aren't being activated. Should the transmission be in neutral to turn the crankshaft? The engine was running fine until the chain came off the lower gear. Then it would spin when the starter motor engaged so I assumed the crankshaft was spinning. Any advice is appreciated.

When we first heard the noise, we immediately stopped driving it...at first we thought it might be a linkage issue, but after further inspection looks like the sound/jolting is coming from the rear diff. Took a video below...
Anyone know what is creating the diff to skip/jump like this? We drained the diff oil and didn't look terrible, no metal.
Other info that may be useful:
      1400 miles on it
      Recently tightened the E brake
P.s. never posted on this forum before, let me know if the video does not work

Apparently, these are Hisun or at least they use Hisun engines. I can't find much info on them online yet.  Ran across a used one with just 100 miles on it as a very reasonable price.  Just curious.
Okay, more info...they are owned by Textron Corp who also owns Bell Helicopter, Cessna & Beechcraft aircraft, Ez-Go & Cushman and Arctic Cat and a bunch of other companies.
So are thy cheap Chinese crap machines or are they good to go?
