Live in GA, hunt in KS and I picked up a 2017 Massimo MSU500 and so far just love this thing. I'm lightly customizing it now. Definitely better than my old Grizzly 660 for my current KS hunting.

Ill be picking your brains for info so thanks in advance to you pros for all your help and advice.

Yep, much better for hauling stands and everything else.  Although it's a little harder to load a big buck in the dump bed than it was to drag one across the atv.  I picked up a chain-on hoist after last season!

That's a good idea for my property. I like to hang them a day or 2 and that would make it a lot easier then puling up!

Have worked the daylights out of it, 6 yrs. The thing basically lives in a ft or so of tanic, acidic swamp water. Just yesterday had to change the ECU. Bought from Motorcycle Doctor. They go from $160. at MD to over $400. Their delivery was 4 days, great company. Other than that 1 set rear tires, wheel bearings and little things like that which I consider wear items. Been a fantastic machine. I like the side by side and the fact it is smaller than most other brands.

Have hauled out dozens of hogs and in last 2 yrs 6 deer. I use a game sled, for lack of better description. Just roll the deer, hog in it, throw a rope around the hitch. Screw lifting it on the body. When I get out to the truck I haver a small Block & Tackle in truck bed, simple pull the game up a plank into the truck bed. No lifting for this old man!!!

I have a 2017 Intimidator XD4 800cc 4x4.  It will run great and then it's like it goes into safe mode and only runs on 1 cylinder.  It's not fouling out the plug when it happens.  Some times when I stop and restart it, it works fine.  First I thought it was a spark issue, then a fuel issue, but I feel like it's a short in the wiring some place.

Question, Does anyone know if a 700-cylinder, piston, and head fit on top of a 500-bottom end, Although I have a 500 and have rebuilt the 500 once, I'm thinking the lower end may be the same for both the 500 and the 700. Does anyone have information on that?

The conversion took about 350lbs. off the vehicle.  It never rode great, but now I feel every  crack in the road.  I have backed off spring compression nut to the point just under where they would move around if suspension was at full extension, but it is still very stiff.  I would like to put some softer coilover springs on it, but I have no idea what the spring rate is with the original springs so I would just be guessing on what to order.  Does anyone have the data for the original spring compression rate?  I am willing to give up a little ground clearance for a softer ride. Right now when sitting still the rear suspension is at or near full extension and the rear tires have several degrees of camber which will cause uneven wear if allowed to continue in this state.

Hello all. I purchased a brand new Massimo Buck 250 EFI in June for our farm and I've had the parking brake fail on me twice. I have approximately 250 miles on the vehicle. The first time was less than a month after receiving the UTV. We all of a sudden lost brake pressure and it would not start. I tracked the issue back to the parking brake. Upon removing the chain cover, I noticed the brake pad was missing and the caliper piston was touching the rotor. I found a set of brake pads online and replaced them myself. It's worked for several months and just happened again. Seems like a design flaw. I'm reaching out to see if there's an upgrade option available, or if I should replace the entire caliper with the brake pads? Thanks in advance for any advise.
I submitted a warranty claim, so I'll keep this updated with what Massimo replies.
When I replaced the brake pads the first time, back in July, my Son made a video on YouTube to show the unique caliper design. Here's a link if you wanted to check it out:
