i purchased a brand new massimo tboss 410 and from day 1 it wont operate in reverse.  When i pop in reverse and give it gas it will die out.  when i pop in reverse sometimes in will die right away (before giving any gas) and 1 time out of 100 when i pop in reverse it will operate perfectly fine.   and yes, it operates perfectly dine in normal drive H and L.  any thoughts??   when i called the dealer i got it from they had no idea.

Did you ever find a solution.  Mine has 39 miles on it and dies everytime you put it in Reverse.  Nobody seems to know why!   VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

We are having the same issue with the Boss 550.  The reverse is giving us problems.  Its not dying out, but just not going. Got the reverse beep, (ANNOYING AS HELL) But is not wanting to go in reverse. Sounds like some ringing in there. This thing is brand new. It hardly gets used, and its not like it turns on a dime, so without reverse we are basically without it.   This thing wasnt cheap, and its problem after problem. Forward is fine.   CMON yall.... whats the deal? Is your buggy just junk? Is there a fix?

Kinda wishing we got something else.

Most likely needs the shift cable adjusted, but also make sure the rear differential fluid is at the correct level.  These "dealers"  know nothing about the machines they are selling for the most part.  If you don't know what the level should be, it should barely touch the end of an allen key when inserted (about 3/4" below hole).

As TapBoss said, most likely the shift cable needs adjusting. If new it was not adjusted right from the getgo. If older the linkage is warn or cable is stretched.

Either way the manual should give directions on how to adjust the cable. If nothing search YouTube for a couple video. If you can't find one for your model look for a setup that is close.

Unfortunately the manual doesn’t, at least not that I could find

So I also have a Tboss 410 with the same issue. Almost as if it is stalling out. I also notoced the speedometer is not reading the speed correctly. When im idling in nuetral the speedometer shows im moving when im not. When im driving in forward the speed is not accurate. I had previously unhooked the back up beeper and i thought that is what caused the issues so i reattached it. Issue still exsists. Everything works fine driving forward in H and L. other than the speedometer not working accurately. It just really does not like going in reverse. Sometimes all I ha e to do is shift ot in Reverse and it stalls. Any thoughts?

I have recently encountered this problem on my 2022 Massimo 410 t-boss. High and low gear work fine. Dies instantly as soon as it is given any throttle in reverse and speedometer is haywire. For six months I have checked everything from fluid levels, to cable adjustments, to throttle position sensors, to O2 sensors. I have reset the CPU all to no avail, until recently. There is a connection located under the output shaft of the transfer case, that is pretty well hidden, that vibrated loose and became uncoupled. As soon as this was reconnected reverse works flawlessly, speedo is accurate and there is no more surging in high gear. I hope this helps as the dealers and Massimo support are of very little assistance.

I just purchased a used 2023 Massimo warrior UTV SxS 1000mx with 600 miles on it. I didn't even get a full day of riding and the driver's side rear axle broke. I'm pretty sure it was already going bad because we would hear a noise once in a while. I'm wondering if anyone else has had problems with theirs. Also looking for places to buy accessories.

My buddy has a ut400 that the forward gear keeps popping out of gear. She only has like 400 miles on the odometer .the shift cable has been adjusted and the shift lever has been updated / modified. All other gears are good. Is there an internal detent cam or something that wears out or shift fork that can be replaced ? Or is there some other magic that I can perform ? Looks like the engine needs to be split.

We recently purchased the Axis x550. Fueled it with 93 fuel and drove one time around the farm and the 02 fault error appeared. Any ideas?
