I have been spending a lot of time reading all of the negative things about our machines and now I’m afraid to put any time on this machine not knowing when it’s going to fall apart or leave me stranded somewhere. I can’t believe that Hisun can get away with selling such a piece of shit according to most of you. I guess when your trying to save a little money and opt to buy something that looks to good to be true is just that. Pretty sad that I have to look forward in spending additional money and get no support from a company that has a 2 year warranty that I won’t be able to use. I’m surprised that they can stay in business with a reputation like that I’m reading. Just my 2 cents. Very disappointing to say the least. All I can hope is for a little good luck with this POS. I’m mechanically inclined but didn’t want to spend my riding time fixing it.

Look at it this way. You're not getting any enjoyment out of it just sitting there. You gotta try it sometime.

Yes, I was just saying that as a figure of speech. I riding it but not real confident on whether or when it going to get me stranded. Just wish I did more research before the purchase of this one. Thanks for your input, much appreciated.

Yeah, somebody with one that has something good to say about them. Hope I am as lucky as you. I probably won’t run it like you do so I may have a better chance than some others. Thanks for the positive comments, that helps, lol

What are your passengers sitting on in back. Is that a removable bench seat or what. Please let me know if it is and where you purchased it. I need to have something like that for additional seating that’s safe as well. Don’t want to lose anybody when I make a sharp turn, lol

Thanks, Rick

I have a 2016 Massimo 500 Made by Hisun and it is a beast. I have worked the crap out of it hauling dirt, rocks, firewood, brush, etc. I have pulled up smnall trees with a snatch block on the winch. In short, I have done everything I can think of to break this thing and it still goes.  I can't relate to the naysayers  except that it doesn't run quite as smoth as a  Honda or shift as smooth as some of the others but that's the $4000.00 trade off.

Doug, that’s great to here another good thing about these. Feeling a little better about my decision and hopefully it doesn’t prove me wrong seeing I had a Polaris on order since December and they still couldn’t tell me a delivery date so I decided to get my deposit back seeing I wanted one since then. Like you said I save quite a bit of money. I realize the quality of Polaris verses Hisun but for what I need, hopefully this will do the trick

Hisun Axis 750 for me. Around 70 hrs., and only issues have been the plastic air/oil separator and thermal switch. That's about $40 and an hour to deal with b/c I enjoy beers when I play mechanic.  Everything really smoothed out after break in.  I'd buy again

Does it just fit right in or a lot of modification to make it fit

Only modification is drilling holes in bed to attach 2 rails then you can take seat in and out by pulling 2 pins …

Just picked up a Hisun 500 that had shift issues (corroded fan gear) which I fixed. It also didn't seem to be running smoothly then all of a sudden it got worse. It seems to miss on both idle and when pushing the gas pedal to the floor and doesn't seem to be running at full power. I've been working with a local person who is walking me through some steps, but I'd like some input from this group as well. What I've done:
      - drained the fuel tank and replaced it with 93 octane fuel and added heet to help with any water problems.
      - replaced the fuel injector.
      - disconnected the battery (several times) to allow the module to reset.
      - set the valve clearance, both intake and exhaust, within specs ... intake was tight but exhaust seemed fine.
      - replaced the battery.
      - replaced the O2 sensor.
Nothing has helped. Not sure what the next steps are, but would appreciate any expertise that can be offered here.

Is there a code reader available for the Coleman UTV 400?  I tried using the HUD ECU Hacker software and cables/adapters but no luck OBD to delphi 6 pin and KKL VAG as well as ELM327.  Will not connect.  I was able to get it to connect randomly a couple of times, but haven't been able to since.  I was able to clear and read the codes briefly.  I'm aware of the Tiny Scan 301 but it doesn't seem to be readily available.  There's a few out there but they are expensive.

Hello, we recently got a 2013 Hisun 800 as a little project for my husband and I to work on. Turns out the guys before us loved the mud anyway. We have replaced the stator and now going to do the Rectifier but here is the hold up as seen in the picture. There are tons of wires going to the battery. I cant seem to find anything that shows what wires should, or shouldn't be attached to the battery or where these 2 plugs go. if someone would please take some pics or share knowledge to where they go I would appreciate it greatly.

I recently bought an axis 500 and it’s missing a box or something the plug is L shaped I’ve looked through the wiring diagrams and still can’t figure it out. The plug is located right near the battery housing
