Learn How to Tune Your Can-Am

Recommended Posts

Hey there!

My name is Chrissy and I work at The Tuning School. I am posting about our new tuning courses for HP Tuners and Dynojet PowerCore for Can-Am tuning. We developed two courses to teach shops and enthusiast how tune their SXS. Check out the information below, and if you have any questions please feel free to reach out!

Get ready to unleash the potential power of your Can Am SXS using HP Tuners VCM Suite(and their BRP Cable), or Dynojet PowerCore woth your PV3.
This course is sold as a book and online course in one package. You receive both!
Learn how to navigate and use your chosen software option to create and load custom tunes to fit your preferences. Take it further with performing your own R&D, using our processes as your guideline. The sky's the limit with proven safe processes developed in house by The Tuning School.

Supporting late model Commanders, Defenders, and Mavericks; you can learn how to tune for aftermarket injectors and upgraded thermostats. In addition, use the concepts covered for turbo applications to adjust for larger turbo setups, as well as alternative fuels.

Build as many tunes as you need and gain confidence in troubleshooting issues while you’re out on the trails. Or give your weekend fun haver a little power bump.

This course was built for the shop and enthusiast in mind. Giving both the freedom to create custom tunes, while also better understanding how tuning works overall.

Was at Lowe's over the weekend. The wife and I seen they have a new Axis 550. That thing is sharp. Has a complete door. Speakers in door. Bigger engine. Bench seats. New styling all the way around. Looks to be more air tight than my 2022 model. I really like the looks but $10k is out of my price range for now. Unless I could sell mine. And the resale on the Axis 500 is nothing.
Went to the local wally world today. See a 4 person Polaris General 1000 on the back of a trailer. That Polaris looked exactly like a stretched version of the Axis 550. Even down to the vents in the windshield.
Just wondering if anyone can confirm or deny the Axis 550 is a copy of the Polaris?

Check engine light comes on after engine runs continuously for 5 minutes or so.  I can shut down the engine and restart and check engine light goes out, then comes back on after running 5 minutes or so?  What ya think?

I have a 2019 Bennche Warrior that I mostly use around my property for odd jobs. I also cruise the neighborhood and make short runs to the local pub and neighbors houses. The exhaust system is super loud. I was hoping to find something that will fit and work that is quieter. I have included a photo of the system that is on the unit now. Any ideas or recommendations?
Second question: Recently, it has become hard to shift from park to any gear if the engine is running. The shifter moves fine if the engine is off. It is almost as if the clutch (no pedal) is not disengaging completely. I have not tried to do anything to correct the condition yet but as it gets increasingly more difficult, I need to do something.  Looking for a place to start. Nothing in the service manual that I can find.
Any help will be greatly appreciated,

Just bought my first SxS 4 days ago. Looking forward to hitting some trails and back roads. Having a few issues with the machine(Vector 500), but nothing serious. Just setup and tweaking. I would like to by some accessories, but I don’t seem to be able to find much which is machine specific. Or at least my machine. Does hisun offer accessories? Any advice would be appreciated.
