Hey Folks,

I have a BMS Ranch Stallion 4x4 that has been a really good UTV. I have recently burned the belt out by using it to get a tractor back on its feet after someone dumped it on its side. I found the belt online (380.00 bucks) and I have pulled the cover off to expose the belt. I pulled the old belt off but can not figure out how to reduce the tension on the pulleys. I do not know how to loosen the nut that hold the clutch on as it just spins the whole drive, how do i hold the spindle the nut threads onto? I can not find anyhing on the web about the bms ranch stallion and belt replacement. Anyone ever work on one of these?

I would look at a Hisum or any other Chinese side by side that has the same engine size as yours their belt will probably fit, also look on e-bay as they sometimes give the belt sizes.
As far as removing the belt just work it off by getting the belt off center and rotating the clutch.

I have this same UTV and same problem(s). Cannot find any help on the www and I suspect the belt because of it's inability to move or very lethargic at best. The only difference for me is, I've yet to crack open the housing and actually inspect.

If the author reads this, may I please ask you for a small favor? Do you mind summarizing the steps you went through to perform this task? Any pictures would also be much appreciated.

mine is either a 2020 or 2021 BMS Stallion 600 RX-EFI

If anyone is looking for the cheapest UTV, with dump bed, winch, roof and windshield, I just noticed that lowes has the axis 500/ hisun UTV on sale for 4500 (at least in my area) They are $4500. ($9000 original). I have one - they have some issues, but nothing catastrophic. My biggest complaint is that it is under powered. Also the winch failed. They are still selling an extended warranty - which I would take, just in case. My guess is lowes wants them gone.

Hey Guys, I have been chasing a stalling condition for about two weeks now. The bike will crank up and idle fine, then after about 20 seconds it will fall on its face and stall. It happens at both idle and while running at various rpms. You can turn the key off, turn it back on and it will fire right back up without trouble. I have verified spark on both cylinders with a spark tester. I have also added an inline fuel filter, and pulled the injectors to verify proper pulse on each. Things I have replaced - (relearn procedure performed after each component replaced): spark plugs, ECU, relay/fuse box, fuel pump, & throttle position sensor - all with no improvement of the condition. The only warning light I get when the condition occurs is the oil lamp. The bike only has 14 miles. I am at a loss and appreciate any help and suggestions! Thanks

So I'm interested in a side by side of some sort.
Not sure what make/model to even look at.

I would plan on riding on trails with very rough rocky terrain and plenty of mud. Maybe sand once in a long while. I like LOTS of power and drive fast, but also like a trail that is a challenge to get through. I think 4x4 would be a must. I like the idea of a supercharged engine, but I have never owned one, and would be a little concerned about long term reliability or expensive difficult engine repairs. If anyone knows quads, my favorite was the 2008 Polaris Outlaw 525 IRS. For dirt bikes, I raced a 2008 KTM 450 SX-F. So that gives you an idea of what type of off road stuff I liked.
I don't like "utility quads" or "trail bikes". And likewise, I dont want a turd UTV. I want something that looks awesome and performs awesome. 2 seater with some cargo capacity at the minimum.
